Here we have a battle of the old versus the new. Clayton Kershaw at age 28 is far from ancient, though his Curveball is as legendary as they come. Brandon Belt is a popular victim of Kershaw’s legendary hook, and it’s always a delight watching him freeze as the ball falls across the plate. Nevertheless, Giolito’s hook is a force to be reckoned with. It got an enormous amount of depth as it fell from Neil Walker’s chest all the way to the dirt. Is it enough to trump the most famous hook in baseball?
