Seattle’s Roenis Elias’ has a horizontal Curveball that made Kevin Kiermaier go fishing as it entered and exited the strikezone. Elias’ opponent is Carter Capps and his Slider that catches hitters off-guard when they’re expecting Fastballs with perceived velocities over 100 MPH. Some of the weakest swings we’ve wittnessed have come from this pitch, and Matt Duffy isn’t even close.
