It’s been another exciting week of baseball with many excellent pitches from around the league. You’ve been voting all week, now the top pitches battle for the crown of “Pitching GIF of the Week”. Who will win? Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Jose Fernandez’s Fastball – In case you’ve been living under a rock (who does that?), JoFer is back and he is simply dealing. Watch him dial it up to 99 MPH against Chris Owings en route to 11 strikeouts.

Nathan Eovaldi’s Splitter – This may not look like an impressive pitch at first glance, but then look at the radar gun. This is a Splitter with solid drop coming in at 92 MPH. Crazy. (Thanks to Reddit user akaSpac3 for the tip!)

Chad Qualls‘ Fastball – We don’t feature Qualls often, but the ride on this Fastball was too much to ignore. Notice how batter Brock Holt jumps off the plate as the pitch sweeps all the way across to the outside corner. Crazy good movement. (Thanks to @Big_Ed_McKinley for the tip!)

Matt Harvey’s Fastball – It has been a bit of a rocky road for the supposed Mets’ ace lately, and even through his four walks against the Nationals on Monday, he still froze Michael Taylor with this lively 99 MPH Fastball that curls back onto the plate for the backwards K.

Clayton Kershaw’s Curveball – Chances are that we’ll be featuring a Kershaw pitch after each of his starts, and a 14 strikeout night is sure to produce a solid entry. Here he fools Bryce Harper on his signature bender that travels from Harper’s eyes down and away off the plate.
