Pretty disappointed at that Braxton Ashcraft blurb. “I think that his fastball will get hit hard.” Maybe, but he also has fantastic secondaries by many accounts and his GB% was 42.6% last season – a mark that would have put him at and has never been below 40% except for one time when it was 39.8%. Maybe he’s not elite, but he looks like a Zach Eflin-esque control guy but with better stuff and that is surely worth more than the sparse words said here. The concern should be more about his healthy than about his stuff.
