There isn’t much surprise to see Blake Treinen’s Slider take the step forward to the quarter finals as Treinen takes a step closer to becoming the first pitcher to win both halves of the same year. Justin Verlander will be a difficult obstacle to overcome, as he made Todd Fraizer look worse than any hitter we’ve seen during the year.
