Carlos Carrasco’s changeup – Carlos Carrasco had himself a game against the Chicago White Sox (though, who doesn’t?), pitching seven innings of shutout ball and racking up 11 strikeouts including this nasty changeup to Matt Davidson.

Steven Wright’s knuckleball – Knuckleballs sure are fun to watch, aren’t they? Steven Wright looked solid against the Baltimore Orioles yesterday, pitching 6.2 innings of shutout ball with five strikeouts, including this knuckler that Trey Mancini had no chance against.

Joe Musgrove’s changeup – Musgrove was decent against the Arizona Diamondbacks, giving up three runs over six innings pitched. He did have six strikeouts, however, including this nasty changeup that brought Ketel Marte to his knees.

Madison Bumgarner’s cutter – Man, it’s so nice to have MadBum back on the mound. He didn’t look super great against the Miami Marlins, giving up four runs in 5.1 innings pitched before being ejected for the first time in his caeer, but he did have this cutter he just buried against Starlin Castro.

Dylan Bundy’s changeup – Bundy and Steven Wright were locked in a pitcher’s duel yesterday, though Bundy ended up with the better line, pitching eight innings of shutout ball, giving up just three hits and collecting seven strikeouts. His slider is a pretty regular feature here, but he’s got a nice changeup too, as Mitch Moreland learned.

Diego Castillo’s slider – I always like being able to feature a lesser-known reliever in these articles (they’re people too), and here, Castillo tossed a nice slider to strikeout Aledmys Diaz on his way to the first hold of his major league career.
