Top Priority Players to Add
We’ll hit on a couple of bats to add with a lot of leagues in championship week. Nick has a ton of pitchers covered here on The List for your pitching needs.
Coby Mayo (BAL), 1B, 3B (5% owned in Yahoo)
Mayo has been in a groove at the plate, hitting .306/.386/.500 with three homers and two steals in September. He has multiple hits in four of his last 10 games and will close out the season at Yankee Stadium.
Chase Meidroth (CWS), 2B, 3B, SS (8% owned in Yahoo)
Meidroth has a great approach with good contact ability at the plate and has ridden that to a productive line of .309/.382/.412 (127 wRC+) with two homers in September. There’s not a ton of pop, but he has some speed and is an asset in AVG and OBP leagues.
Gavin Lux (CIN), 2B, 3B, OF (8% owned in Yahoo)
Lux is entrenched as a steady bat atop the Reds lineup and has been hot over the last 10 games, going 8-for-24 with two doubles and a triple. He’ll close out the season in Milwaukee against three right-handers.
Austin Martin (MIN), 2B, OF (8% owned in Yahoo)
Martin has taken advantage of more playing time after the trade deadline. He’s slashing .307/.388/.387 with five stolen bases in September. He’ll get on base and swipe some bases here in the last few games in Philadelphia.
Yahoo and ESPN Most Added Players

Stephen Kolek has been very useful for Kansas City of late and had a tough luck loss in his start last week against the Mariners after allowing one earned run and striking out eight over 7.1 innings.
Bryce Elder allowed three runs on six hits and no walks while striking out seven across seven innings in a loss to the Nationals.
Tyler Wells went only four innings and allowed three runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four in a loss to the Rays.
Shane Baz pitched well, but only went four innings, allowing no hits and three walks with three strikeouts in a no-decision against the Orioles.
Jonah Tong struggled against the Cubs, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks with one strikeout in only two innings.

Emmet Sheehan is fresh off a dominant seven-inning, 10-strikeout performance against the Giants and should be owned in most standard leagues.
Drake Baldwin is one of the main contenders for National League Rookie of the Year and will be a heavy target in drafts next season.
Mickey Moniak broke out at age 27 for the Rockies, hitting .270/.307/.521 (111 wRC+) with 24 homers and 9 steals.
Caleb Durbin is one of many big-time contributors for Milwaukee that were under the radar coming into the season, making elite contact and hitting .262/.338/.395 with 11 homers and 17 steals while playing great defense.

Mike Burrows (PIT), SP, RP (12% owned in Yahoo)
Burrows draws a start in Atlanta on the final day of the season. He’s closed out the final month strong, with a 2.35 ERA, 1.51 FIP, and 3.11 xFIP. He has a 23% K-BB% with a healthy ground ball rate. Atlanta has been about league average against righties in September, but they’ve been much worse at home against righties, with the third-worst wRC+ (65).
