We have an interesting bout here in the second round with James Paxton and Fernando Rodney. Both pitches feature late bite at high velocities, though there is one major difference: Fernando’s heater never leaves the strikezone, albeit painting the outside corner, while Paxton’s start as an enticing pitch along the edge before darting off the corner. They both earned strikes, though it’s up to you to decide, which experience is nastier.
