Every morning we review the nastiest pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the First Half. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Jameson Taillon’s Fastball – Taillon shut out the Mets for eight innings as he pitched his second game in the bigs on Tuesday night. His stuff was on point, like this Fastball to Kelly Johnson with incredible left-to-right action. (Thanks to Redditor Ryuuken1789 for the tip!)

Chris Tillman’s Curveball – The Baltimore starter stayed true to his winning nature, improving his record to 9-1 Tuesday. This Curveball to David Ortiz will explain how Tillman has so consistently won games for the Orioles.

Pedro Strop’s Fastball – Strop was able to hold things steady for the Cubs with one inning of work Tuesday. This Fastball to Ben Revere resulted in one of Strop’s two strikeouts. (Thanks to @tbellaga and Redditors Cpt_Hook and Cubsfan5ever for the tips!)

Tom Koehler’s Slider – Koehler continued his string of quality starts by going six innings with two earned runs in Tuesday’s victory. Even though this Slider made contact with Jon Jay, the motion had already fooled him into swinging.

David Price’s Changeup – The Red Sox ace went eight innings and racked up 11 K’s Tuesday against the Orioles. This Changeup to Adam Jones makes it easy to see why batters were fooled all night.

Zach Britton’s Fastball – It seems like everyone on the mound in this game was throwing nasty stuff. This Fastball from Britton dropped out of reach of David Ortiz with some sinking motion. (Thanks to @ShafiqDe and @Mlb_Baller for the tips!)

Gio Gonzalez’s Curveball – The Nationals starter added nine strikeouts to bring his season K total to 80. This Curveball freezes Anthony Rizzo before crossing the plate for a strike.
