Today’s Headlines
Carlos Rodón Exits Start Early
The Yankees injury-prone season continued on Sunday, when its key free agent signing, left-handed pitcher, Carlos Rodón, exited the game early with hamstring tightness. Rodon has had a disappointing start to his tenure in New York, one that will have him in the notoriously tough city for six years. The removal could have been just a precaution, but based on Rodon’s reaction and Boone’s statements, it is certainly concerning for many Yankees fans.

Brandon Woodruff a Good Sight to Brewers Fans
Milwaukee Brewers reinstated Brandon Woodruff on Sunday with the hopes of bolstering their division lead. He did not disappoint. He struck out 9 over 5 innings pitched. Unfortunately for the Brewers, it wasn’t enough, as the Brewers lost to the Pirates. However, fans should be happy with this return as it could–and should–increase their division lead over both the Cubs and Reds.
