Is Stanek’s low placement because he almost certainly won’t get a W or QS? I have him in a deep AL only league primarily for ratios, Ks, and maybe holds. Worth a start for the ratios and Ks?
Yeah, he’s not worth running out there since it’ll be just for one inning (two if you’re lucky). I wouldn’t own Stanek.
Hi Nick, love your site and content. In a points league format with a max number of starts I’m having to bench a few guys for starts the rest of the week. Any worry with Strahm and that the Padres may not let him throw more than 5 innings? I only have 5 starts the rest of the week to use, right now I’m reluctantly benching Strahm behind Corbin, Bumgarner, Marquez, Castillo, Glasnow. Do you agree he’s behind this group?
Limited starts and points is a different list than the one published every week. The top is the same, but around 30 it would be quite divergent. I am definitely worried that Strahm won’t throw 6. How many times has he done it in his career?
Clevinger throwing hard today. I have never seen him throw as well as he is today. That FB is often pretty weak bu he is getting intot he upper 90s this today.
