Ryan Madson’s Changeup – The entire Royals bullpen got the job done to keep the game close in the later innings, with Madson taking care of the 11th inning. For his second out, he fanned Michael Cuddyer on this Changeup that featured a boatload of sink.

Chris Young’s Slider – Young has been elite out of the pen for the Royals this postseason, and he silenced the Mets for three innings of no-hit ball to earn the win KC. He struck Juan Legares with this Slider in the 13th that never stopped diving into the dirt.

Wade Davis‘ Cutter – It looked grim entering the 9th for the Royals, but Davis kept them within reach by looking unhittable in his frame. Lucas Duda didn’t have a chance as Davis’ Cutter faded from Duda’s wheelhouse into his blind-spot.

Edinson Volquez’s Fastball – KC fans will take a 3 ER outing from Volquez, who put himself in a jam during the seventh inning. He earned a big first out by painting this 96 MPH comeback Fastball on the outside corner to Travis d’Arnaud.

Jeurys Familia’s Slider – Sure, he allowed a bomb to Alex Gordon that tied the game, but that doesn’t mean Familia didn’t make some great pitches. Here he caught Alcides Escobar looking for a Fastball and dropped a beautiful Slider for strike one.
