Starting Opening Day 2025 (that’s today!), we’re bringing live baseball directly to you. For years, I’ve dreamed of watching baseball together—not just through Gameday or Statcast, but by actually streaming the live game feed with a passionate community. Now, thanks to Playback.tv, it’s finally happening! Here’s what you can expect:
- Every MLB game, all season long – If baseball is on, we’re streaming it. Whether it’s an 11 AM or a 10 PM start, you’ll find us live on Playback.tv/PitcherList.

Do I need MLB.TV to watch the stream?
- To view the live game feed, yes. You need to link your MLB.TV subscription inside Playback
I can’t link my MLB.TV account
- Click on your profile in the top right –> Streaming Accounts –> MLB TV
If I do not have an MLB.TV subscription, can I still watch the stream?
- Yes! You will see all hosts on stage + a scorebug of the game state akin to Gameday that is synced to the feed.
Can I watch games that are normally blacked out?
- Unfortunately, not. If you are located where a game would be blacked out, you will see the same feed as those without an MLB.TV linked subscription.
Is it free to join Playback.tv?
- 100% free! Just make an account.
Can I do more than chat?
- You can join us on the stream! Playback allows chat members to request to join the stage with Video & Audio. We plan on spotlighting our community plenty during the year, giving you the platform to tell us about your favorite team and players.
Which games will be streamed on Playback?
- ALL OF THEM. Anytime baseball is playing, we will have our channel live and showing the games. We will be jumping around a bit when multiple games are on, too. I’m told a quad-screen is in development at Playback.
Even ESPN and AppleTV games? Playoffs? All-star game?
- Sadly, these are the only games we are unable to show the live video feed for. Hopefully this will change in the future.
