Clayton Kershaw’s Curveball – On any given night he’s sure to have a pitch worthy of this list, and Tuesday night gave us this beauty to helpless pinch hitter Jarrett Parker. You would be hard pressed to think of a better Curveball in baseball. (Thanks to Reddit users Colossal89 and Llort2 and @adampaulcooper for the tips!)
Johnny Cueto’s Changeup – The second pitch of yesterday’s Cueto outing against the White Sox produced a pretty Changeup to Adam Eaton that can’t be ignored. Watch it start in the middle of the plate before fading away from Eaton’s bat for strike two. (Thanks to Reddit user RM_Getaway for the tip!)
Matt Moore’s Curveball – Moore hasn’t exploded onto the scene in his return to the hill this year, but his Curveball has looked gorgeous. He struck out Donovan Solano with this sweet 81 MPH hook yesterday and it made us giddy.
Matt Wisler’s Slider – It hasn’t been the ideal rookie year for Wisler, though last night’s outing against the Nationals was a step in the right direction. He snuck this backdoor Slider past MVP front-runner Bryce Harper yesterday to send him back to the dugout. (Thanks to Reddit user cman1098 for the tip!)
Rick Porcello’s Curveball – Porcello had his fourth game in six starts with at least eight strikeouts, and grabbed his third of the night with this sweet Curveball to Didi Gregorius.
