Luis Castillo’s Fastball – It was the final start of Castillo’s 2017 season and he couldn’t have gone out on a better note, fanning ten batters across eight innings. He held nothing back on the field, not only hurling 100mph, but also with life as he blew this pitch past Orlando Arcia.
Lance McCullers’ Curveball – After missing time on the DL, McCullers returned to the hill against the Mariners and featured the deuce that made us enjoy him so much. Watch him fan Nelson Cruz with his signature Curveball as it fell out of the zone in a hurry.
Robert Gsellman’s Fastball – Gsellman has been a surprisingly decent arm for the Mets lately, earning a sub 3.00 ERA across his last four starts. His Fastball is getting some pretty movement lately, like this Fastball that started on the plate before entering no-man’s land.
Dinelson Lamet’s Slider – Lamet cruised through the Cardinals’ lineup, fanning eight batters in six innings. The go-to weapon in his arsenal has always been his Slider and we couldn’t help but include this perfectly executed breaker that fell along the outside corner to Harrison Bader.
Carlos Carrasco’s Fastball – Last night was one of Carrasco’s better performances we’ve seen, going the distance in a CGSHO against the White Sox. When he’s on, his Fastball gets a boatload of movement and it overwhelmed Yolmer Sanchez in the first inning at 94mph.
