There are a million amazing things about being involved with Pitcher List, but the best part has been getting to interact with so many fantastic baseball writers, podcasters, and diehard fans. The Discord Server and the social media communities on Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram have provided an outstanding avenue for all of us to interact and “meet” each other in a way.
However, we want to take things to the next level—with our very own get together for the Pacific Northwest crowd in Seattle, Washington!
There have been some great Pitcher List meetups in New York—and there’s one coming up in Los Angeles—but we felt that we should share the love out here in the upper left corner of the US.
We’ll be meeting up in Seattle at Elysian Fields Brewery (542 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104) at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. It’s only a few blocks from T-Mobile Park, where the Mariners will host the Tigers, so we’ll be able to meet up there, hang out, have a beer (or two), and talk baseball. For those who want to go to the game, we’ll be able to walk over together a little before game time.
Here are some members of the writing team that will be there:
Michael Ajeto
Ian Post
Hunter Denson
Travis Scherer
Andy Patton
With more to be added as we get closer to the date. If you have any questions, please reach out to me—either in the comments or on Twitter @andyPattonSEA
Looking forward to seeing many of you there!
