Here are your morning rankings for today’s starting pitcher options.
It’s not perfect and will be far from the actual results at the end of the day, though it should give guidance for those questioning who to slot into your lineup on a given day.
There is a second table for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
Pitchers highlighted in yellow = Possible streaming options.
FS = False Starter where there is an assumed opener actually starting the game.
Red = Postponed.

Nick, reposting this from comments to yesterday’s column: I’m heading into my playoffs in a week – how concerned should I be about the last couple of weeks of performances from Bauer, Lynn, Berrios, Boyd and CSmith? Are any/all hitting a wall? Talk me down (or give me a hard dose of reality – it does look like you are considerably less optimistic about Smith’s Tuesday start today than you had been in yesterday’s column for his then-projected Monday start). Thanks.
Samardzija is scheduled against Arizona tomorrow, not Rodriguez.
It’s the first week of the playoffs in my 10 team points league and I have to decide between Dustin may, Pablo lopez (both with 2 starts), Zach wheeler and Kyle Gibson. I have two spots left in my line up and it’s a weekly league so the deadline is today. Who would you go with and why?
You really got to get the actual pitcher list out earlier than this. Kinda ridiculous.
Hey E!
This week it’s transitioning to expected schedules and I’m working now to do it right.
It takes a lot of time, I announced on Twitter earlier today that it’s coming out tomorrow morning.
Sorry for the delay! These take time.
Ahh. Thanks buddy! I’ve hit refresh about 100000 times today.
Yeah this free content is insulting. How dare they have a slight delay?
Nick– I know you cant tell this guy to eff off, but we are all thinking it.
Take a hike “E”
Hey Zac. No one cares what you think! Nice picture. Hahahaha
