Matched up are a pair of dazzling Fastballs both thrown at high velocities. Yordano Ventura dialed it up to 99 MPH on this 1-0 heater that runs back to the plate to nab the outside corner. It’s tough to find a better pitch to earn strike one. Gerrit Cole uses his Fastball to strikeout Adam LaRoche as the ball starts in the middle of the plate before riding away from LaRoche’s bat up and out of the zone. It’s hard to imagine how he generates so much movement.
