Tayron Guerrero’s Fastball – Good lord, 101 MPH heat is too much as it is, can you imagine trying to hit it when it has late movement as well? Ryan McMahon didn’t stand a chance. Filthy, filthy stuff from Guerrero.

Chaz Roe’s Slider – Hello old friend. Roe’s slider has been generating ugly whiffs from opponents all season, and Saturday’s slider to Xander Bogaerts was more of the same.

Brandon Kintzler’s Fastball – Alex Avila is good at two things, taking a walk and hitting right-handed pitching. He did not do either of those well in this at-bat, as Kintzler completely froze him with this nasty late moving two-seamer right on the inside corner of the plate.

Johnny Cueto’s Changeup – Cueto’s changeup has more drop to it than many big leaguers’ curveballs do. Here he uses it to get Joc Pederson swinging out of his shoes.

Carlos Carrasco’s Curveball – Even after giving up two home runs in the first inning, Carlos Carrasco was able to finish off the inning in a spectacular fashion, using this yo-yo curveball to fan Mitch Haniger.

Garrett Richards‘ Curveball – Richards brought out his yo-yo on Saturday, fanning veteran Brett Gardner with this nasty pitch down in the zone.
