Little League Classic
It’s that time of year again! Cleveland overpowered the Angels in the annual Little League Classic game in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It was a ride…

My favorite part is the ceremonial first pitch, which is probably the cutest moment in baseball all year.

Of course, the big kids were loving it as much as the little ones.

The star of the show was Cleveland starter Cal Quantrill, who pitched a beauty going seven strong innings allowing just two hits while striking out nine. His phenomenal changeup was on point!

Cleveland’s Amed Rosario blasted a two-run homer in the first inning and the Angels couldn’t get on the board for the rest of the contest.

Andruw Jones Wins Defensive Player Of The Year…Wait, What Year Is It?
If you thought I was about to take you on a time-travel trip back to a time where the former Atlanta superstar Andruw Jones flashed his amazing defense, you would be wrong…but only just.
His son, also Andruw of course, is quickly following in his father’s footsteps, excelling in his defensive as part of the Perfect Game USA scouting service. It feels like we’ll be seeing another Jones dominating the fences in the Majors sometime soon.
Congrats buddy @jones_druw @RawlingsSports defensive player of the year 🙏🏾@PerfectGameUSA pic.twitter.com/mSEWss2mv5

Fantasy Baseball Football Draft
You have to give it to the Dodgers players. They came up with a unique way to come up with their fantasy football draft order. Cody Bellinger chipped in with the winning shot.
The Dodgers had a closest to the pin contest to decide who got the first pick in the team fantasy football draft. Cody Bellinger won in dramatic fashion 😂😂

Miggy 500!
Of course, we couldn’t leave without tipping our cap to the great Miguel Cabrera, who hit the 500th home run of his career off Steven Matz in the Tigers 5-3 win over the Blue Jays. Here is the special moment.
The 28th player in MLB history to hit 500 home runs.

As the messages of congratulations flooded in, there was one that struck the right cord.
