Weekend Streaming: Week 13

Searching for five players to help you win your Week 13 matchup.

Welcome back to another weekend streaming article where I select five players based on hot streaks, pitching/team matchups, or a combination of things to help fantasy owners acquire cheap, low-roster rate (50% or below) production to help win the last two days of their weekly matchups.

Let’s dive into Week 13…

Luke Raley, 1B/OF, Seattle Mariners

Raley returned to action on June 20th and has dominated ever since, posting a monster 1.044 OPS with a 206 wRC+ and 55% hard hit rate through eighteen plate appearances. A small sample size, of course, but he man is HOT with the stick right now. He faces a Texas Rangers rotation that’s turned in a middle-middle results in the month of June outside of deGrom’s sub-2 ERA. Their starters are listed TBD for now, but we know that deGrom (last pitched Wednesday) won’t face the M’s lineup this weekend.

Donovan Solano, INF, Seattle Mariners

Yes, the M’s bats are hot!! Not enough people are talking about Solano’s month of June, as he’s gone 16-for-38 (.444) with 4 XBH thus far. His 248 wRC+ and fantastic batted ball metrics β€” 94 AEV, 106 maxEV, 50% HH β€” have helped him skyrocket his production. As seen above, Solano and the Mariners’ lineup just misses deGrom over the weekend, so I like the matchup here for them.

Justin Verlander, RHP, San Francisco Giants

Verlander, 42, sure has had himself an interesting year. After returning from injury this month, he’s struck out 11 batters through 9.2 innings. He’s been getting quite unlucky (.391 babip), leading to the 5.59 ERA this month. His 2.76 FIP, 28% whiff rate, and 3.59 SIERA more accurately depict how his return has gone, in my opinion. Verlander faces a brutal White Sox lineup that ranks dead last in the American League in multiple meaningful categories like AVG (.219), wRC+ (80), and SLG (.351). Not to mention, Verlander has excelled against Chicago throughout his career.

Rostered: 24% (Yahoo)

Frankie Montas Jr., RHP, New York Mets

Montas Jr. fired off five innings of scoreless ball in his return to the mound in 2025. His ability to dominate the whiff% and CSW% categories β€” particularly with the four-seamer and sinker β€” is the main reason I’m in on him this weekend. Montas Jr. faces the worst offense in baseball this month, the Pirates, which should help his cause as well.

Rostered: 5% (Yahoo)

Isaac Collins, OF, Milwaukee Brewers

Collins, 27, has quietly put together a nice rookie of the year campaign in 2025, slashing .258/.369/.397/.766 with a 119 wRC+ through 118 PAs. He’s taken his production to a whole new level this month, turning in a 193 wRC+ and 1.063 OPS since 6/4. The 20% walk rate with limited Ks and good XBH potential makes this a really sneaky pick not only for the weekend, but over the course of the rest of the year.

He faces Colorado’s pitching staff this weekend… respectfully, need I say more?

Rostered: 4% (Yahoo)
