- Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers, Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper and Colorado Rockies shortstop Ezequiel Tovar all headed to the IL this week. And don’t look now, but Seattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez may end up on the IL too.
- It was a big week for prospect call-ups as Chicago White Sox catcher Kyle Teel, Kansas City Royals infielder Jac Caglianone and New York Mets infielder Ronny Mauricio each made their debuts.
