JRam writes history
The Cleveland slugger hit a solo home run in the sixth inning of Monday’s matinee against the Tigers. The blast was his 87th go-ahead home run for the franchise, breaking Larry Doby’s record from the 1950s. It’s worth mentioning that Doby was the second player to break baseball’s color barrier and the first to do so in the American League.
That's three straight wins for the @CleGuardians!

Ohtani Stands Alone
The Dodgers superstar now leads the MLB in both batting average and home runs after a 2-3, two RBI performance that included a two-run shot in the first frame. It has become must-watch baseball every time he steps to the plate.

Healing Hurlers
It’s hard to discuss baseball over the last two seasons without the discussion of pitching injuries, it’s disappointing but, personally, I try to look at the silver linings where I can – we get to celebrate the return of big names to the mound and the accomplishment of rehabilitation!
It’s very difficult to come back from serious injury and return to pro-level performance, certainly not from surgeries. I’ve had elbow operations – it’s not fun! But on Monday, we saw the long-awaited return of Walker Buehler from his journey with Tommy John.
He pitched four frames and struggled a bit in the first, but his fastball velocity looked good and it brought a smile to my face to have a player, who once was considered a top pitcher in the National League, back on the mound. Here’s hoping for more returns to health!
Here’s what he had to say about it…

Best Moments From Yesterday
DeFirst of Many
Tampa Bay youngster Jonny DeLuca hit his first home run of his career yesterday, helping lift the Rays to an 8-2 beatdown over the Chicago White Sox. The Rays are now an undefeated 4-0 when wearing their City Connect jerseys this season. Nonetheless, DeLuca could be a much-needed boost to the bottom of the Tampa batting order.
