The MLB Futures Game will take place on Saturday, July 8 and will feature 28 prospects from the MLB top 100 list, including Jacksons Holiday and Chourio from the Orioles and Brewers systems, respectively.

Starting Pitcher Leads MLB in Homers

Best Moments From Yesterday

Orioles Call Up (Another) Top Prospect

Jordan Westburg made his MLB debut last night with the Orioles in Baltimore. Westburg was hitting .295/.372/.567 with 18 homers in 301 PA in Triple-A. Spencer Strider never skips leg day, and also had ten strikeouts and allowed just one run over seven frames as Atlanta beat the Twins for their league-best third win in a row. Strider improved to 9-2 and is striking out almost 40% of the batters he faces.

Injuries

The surging Marlins reinstated Jazz Chisholm Jr. from the IL on Monday. Chisholm has been out since mid-May. Jean Segura is also back after a short stay on the IL due to a hamstring strain.

In more good news on the injury front, the Tigers announced Matt Manning is returning from the IL to make a start Tuesday against the Rangers. Manning has been out since April after being hit by a comeback liner off of his foot.
