Kikuchi should start tomorrow, unless they skip him. (Helpful i know.)
Yep, thanks for that! Stupid rain…
The entire landscape for SP is going to get all messed up with this weather. Guys will not only get pushed back but starts will get skipped etc. April!
This list is a godsend… Spot starting Mahle tonight!
Good luck! It’s a bit risky in a 12-teamer, and let’s hope his new curveball gets the job done.
Flaherty’s start got pushed back to Friday due to the game being postponed (weather)
Due to start limit.. can only pick one. ERod today; Skaggs v Tex; Caleb @atl; thoughts? H2H category w/ qs included.
Is it time to panic on Eovaldi? Considering dropping for Caleb Smith. What more do we need to see out of each to make that move?
This is a great article…but is there a chance you can post it a day earlier? It doesn’t help those of us who need to make waiver moves the day prior.
I gotta say that the Statcast SB prediction thing is just about the stupidest idea I have seen in a while. The idea that success is based on the lead-off length in real-time is just a fundamental lack of understanding of baseball. Pitchers allow SBs, runners don’t get them with big leads. Not to mention that most actual success is based on throw accuracy, pitch location, tags and replays which can’t be predicted – they could easily be analyzed afterwards, but that isn’t predictive. On the other hand, maybe we can start to realize that the mysteries of the game are not being unraveled.
All this really represents is a giant commercial for Amazon Web Services. It started off as Statcast… then it became Amazon Web Services, now they are rolling out the endgame which is Amazon AI. That’s all this ever was people. Its a commercial for Amazon embedded into the game. Do you think MLB pays Amazon for Statcast, MLB them free advertising for their “service” that they provide or Amazon pays MLB for advertising – which is what it always has been. MLB has essentially allowed Amazon to copyright baseball stats – MLB hit leaders, brought to you by Statcast! One thing is for sure – they are all making money hand over fist.
