Top Priority Players to Add
Tristan Peters, OF (CHW) — 36% Rostership
Nobody on the planet is hotter than Peters, who’s coming off a stretch in which he homered in five consecutive games. Since the midway point in August, Peters has slashed .390/.457/.854 with a stellar .406 xwOBA and 260 wRC+. He’s also limited strikeouts really well (13%). Sign me up!
Mickey Gasper, C/1B (BOS) — 12% Rostership
Gasper has quietly kept pace with Peters, launching five home runs through eight games since returning to the majors this month. He’ll provide you catcher-needy managers with some sneaky pop in a platoon role from the left side. The Red Sox have been masterful utilizing players in smaller roles to optimize performance, and he’s no exception. He owns a 162 wRC+ versus righties (compared to a -56 wRC+ against lefties) this season.
Yahoo and ESPN Most Added Players
Kyle Leahy is such an underrated arm — I’m glad he’s broken onto the scene a bit with his 3.13 ERA through 126.1 innings in 2026. He hasn’t allowed 3+ earned runs in a game since mid June (1.28 ERA over 11 starts since 6/23). Grab him immediately.
Walker Buehler has been decent this month, posting a 2.78 ERA/3.21 xERA over 4 starts. He’s not racking up many strikeouts and the WHIP is bleh, so this is a guy I’d be cautious about adding.
Christian Javier hasn’t been great at any point this season and he’s allowed between 2-4 earned runs over his last four starts. I’d stay away.
Leahy and Peters were mentioned above. Cal Quantrill is having a great season is you purely look into his 2.90 ERA, but nothing else indicates this is something that he can sustain. He also doesn’t generate much swing-and-miss. The same thing goes for Martín Pérez (3.12 ERA).
Kade Anderson is going to go through an adjustment phase, as we saw in his first outing where he allowed two home runs, but he’s still a talented enough pitcher to compete over 5+ innings.

Tyler Mahle, RHP (ATL) — 39% Rostership
Mahle, acquired at the deadline via the Giants, has been stellar in his new uniform. It would be unwise to bet against what he’s done to this point in Atlanta.

Dustin May, RHP (MIL) — 30% Rostership
May has a great matchup against the Rangers this weekend — a team that hasn’t fared well facing RHPs this season. The 28-year-old is rocking a 3.36 FIP and 15% K-BB rate this season.
Zac Thornton, LHP (NYM) — 22% Rostership
Thornton boasts a stellar 2.88 ERA through 56.1 innings this season. He may not generate much swing-and-miss, but this is a guy that’s gone at least six innings in over half of his first ten starts in the majors to begin his career.
