Eduardo Valencia (DET): 4-5, 2 HR, 3 R, 4 RBI.
Valencia, just six games into his major league career, had one of the best performances of the 2026 season yesterday. The 26-year-old rookie tallied four hits (including two home runs) en route to a 14-0 Tigers victory.
Valencia launched a 105.7 EV / 416 FT home run off Dean Kremer to get things started in the second inning. He’d then tag Kremer for a 102.9 EV single in the next inning. Valencia ended up whacking an 88.5 EV single off veteran Albert Suárez in the fifth inning before taking advantage of a position player on the mound in the eighth inning, crushing a 96.8 EV / 372 FT home run.
While Valencia boasts just a 1% Rostership rate on Yahoo, the young righty has already tallied four home runs throughout his first seven games this season. He may be worth a pickup!

Dominic Canzone (SEA): 2-4, 2 HR, 2 R, 3 RBI.
Canzone blasted two home runs en route to Seattle’s 7-6 win over the Dodgers yesterday. The first came off lefty Justin Wroblewski in the sixth inning (107.9 EV / 433 FT), and he would later tag high-leverage reliever Alex Vesia in the eighth (107.5 EV / 414 FT)… while on paper these two left-on-left matchups seem to have made sense, Canzone entered yesterday slashing .258/.439/.484 with a 168 wRC+ against southpaws this season. A reverse-splits demon.
Sal Stewart (CIN): 2-3, HR, R, 3 RBI, 2 BB, SB.
Stewart took Slade Cecconi deep in his first at-bat, launching a 101.2 EV / 416-foot bomb off him in the third inning and later sliced a 105.7 EV single into left field for good measure. The 22-year-old has been nothing short of exceptional throughout his rookie season and he’s only bound to get better with more PAs. He’s got hits in five consecutive games now.
Brandon Lowe (PIT): 2-5, 2B, HR, R, 2 RBI, BB.
Lowe launched his 22nd home run of the season (103.7 EV / 415 FT — gone in 30/30 ballparks) off veteran righty Paul Sewald yesterday. He also managed to draw a walk and record an 86.6 EV double earlier in the game. Lowe and his 113 wRC+ have been a steady presence in this Pirates lineup.
Mickey Moniak (COL): 2-5, 2B, HR, R, 3 RBI.
Moniak pieced up and “excuse-me” 66.3 EV double off young righty Bradgley Rodriguez yesterday, but the bigger highlight was his 17th home run of the season. The ball traveled 406 feet and registered a 107.3 EV. The Rockies — while maybe not the most promising org in baseball — continue to slug.
Yordan Alvarez (HOU): 2-4, HR, R, 2 RBI, BB.
Alvarez hit potentially the loudest home run of the season yesterday… literally. Just take a listen:

That first inning bomb off Reid Detmers traveled 427 feet and registered a 109.7 exit velocity. It was a home run in 30/30 ballparks. MLB’s home run leader also tallied a 107.1 EV single later in the game.
George Springer (TOR): 1-3, HR, R, 3 RBI, BB.
Springer has been on a heater lately, slashing .355/.412/.516 with a 164 wRC+ entering play yesterday. He extended his hit streak to four games with a 105.8 EV / 437 FT blast off Gus Varland in the eighth inning. After cooling off from what was a magical comeback campaign last season, it’s good to see Springer finding his groove again.
Fernando Tatis Jr. (SDP): 5-5, R, 2 RBI.
Tatis was flawless at the dish yesterday, racking up five consecutive singles against the Rockies. Here’s an in-depth look at his day at the dish:

Luis García Jr. (WSN): 2-5, HR, R, 2 RBI.
Garcia Jr. will be a hot commodity amongst buyers at the trade deadline, and he showed why yesterday. He tagged Mason Fluharty for a 98.5 EV / 375 FT bomb in the fourth and then smacked a 101.2 EV single off CJ Van Eyk in the sixth. Garcia’s 130 wRC+ paired with his ability to make quality contact while limiting strikeouts will play on any contending team.
Brian Serven (ATH): 1-3, HR, R, 2 RBI.
Serven — in just his second game this season — went deep against standout southpaw Jake Bennett yesterday for the first time since August of 2022. His 101.5 EV / 419 FT blast ended up as the deciding run in a thrilling 4-3 win for the Athletics against a red-hot Sox squad.
