Welcome to Waiver Wire Picks, our daily fantasy baseball article that looks at the best available players in baseball that you should be adding to your rosters. We’ll look at the players that are likely to be available in most leagues, as well as some deep league waiver wire options, and we’ll also look at the most added players in fantasy baseball across the major sites, and let you know which players to add and which players you can leave on the wire.
Top Priority Players to Add
Colt Keith, INF (DET) — 10% Rostership
Keith has been the best offensive performer in the American League over the past two weeks.

The only player in the majors to owns a higher wRC+ than Keith over that same span is Shohei Ohtani. The 24-year old is one of the most underrated players in MLB… this addition to your lineup is a no-brainer.
Peter Lambert, RHP — 55% Rostership
Lambert has been super effective since the start of July, compiling a 2.10 ERA/2.27 FIP with a 21.6% K-BB rate, good for 11th in MLB over that span. His 1.02 WHIP (16th) fueled by a .168 BAA also indicates this is a really solid pickup that could bolster multiple categories. Lambert’s four-seamer has yielded just one hit this month, plus it’s rocking a 53.3% whiff rate over that same span.
Yahoo and ESPN Most Added Players
Clay Holmes is the headline add here. The 33-year-old posted a 2.39 ERA through 52.2 innings prior to hitting the 60-day IL, fueled by his elite ability to induce ground balls (~60% in 2026). Holmes owns a 3.30 FIP and has struck out eight batters through 11.2 innings across three rehab outings.
Jake Bennett is elite. The southpaw returned to the big leagues on June 22nd and hasn’t looked back since, earning a spot in Boston’s rotation for the foreseeable future thanks to his 2.13 ERA/2.83 xERA and 0.91 WHIP over his last 55.2 innings. Nobody limits quality contact better than Bennett does.
Anthony Kay is coming fresh off a scoreless 6.1 inning performance on August 2nd. He owns a 2.95 ERA since June 22nd and while the underlying metrics indicate perhaps he’s been a little lucky over that stretch, he’s a solid streaming option if your team needs innings.
Andruw Monasterio is a doubles machine. He’s slashing .352/.416/.602 with 11 doubles (leads MLB), .370 xwOBA, and a 178 wRC+ since the start of July. His versatility only makes him that much more valuable to fantasy managers, too.
Landen Roupp has been such an underrated arm for the Giants this season. He’s rocking a 3.47 FIP over 118.1 innings with a career-high 24% K rate. Roupp is elite at limiting hard contact, ranking inside the 90th percentile in average exit velo, 91st percentile in barrel%, and 96th percentile in hard-hit rate.
Robert Stock tossed five innings of one-run ball in his season debut against the Marlins last week, so why not give him another go?
Streaming Pitchers

Jared Jones, RHP (PIT) — 48% Rostership
Jones shouldn’t be available, but if he is, go ahead and grab him. The 24-year-old owns a 3.03 ERA/3.27 FIP over his last 8 starts (38.2 innings). He’s striking out batters at a 30% clip over that span and his WHIP (0.88) is more than acceptable. Jones’ slider is currently rocking a 56.3% whiff rate this month.
Joey Cantillo, LHP (CLE) — 41% Rostership
Cantillo faces a White Sox offense tomorrow that ranks 23rd in production since the start of August. Southside batters are slashing just .233/.312/.398 against left-handed pitchers this season, too. I’m not concerned with Cantillo’s bloated numbers — he’s been BABIP’d hard and he’s bound to return to form soon. This is a good matchup.
Sean Manaea, LHP (NYM) — 11% Rostership
Manaea is a sneaky add if you’re going to play the hot streak. The 34-year-old may not help you much in the WHIP or K% departments, but he’s posted a 2.50 ERA over his last three starts where he’s gone at least 6 innings.
