Apologies for the lack of my muting!
This was recorded a while ago, but life has a tendency to get in the way. Adam Lawler (@TheStatcastEra) and Travis Sherer (@ShererTravis) discuss the college landscape, fading college prep arms this year, and the impact bats for your first year player draft. Adam dips into why you should fade catching prospects. Travis waxes poetic on Golden Spikes award winners. We also touch base on Travis’ articles ranking the best dynasty players and we fight about Manny Machado for a while during this On The Farm (@_OnTheFarm_) podcast!

It’s Mize-Ner…not mizzner. No plate discipline? He’s ranked 5th Nationally in walks. Yall are a joke. m
Well, thanks for the constructive criticism, Matthew. Volume doesn’t necessarily equate to discipline. What I believe we were implying – and it seems like the nuance was lost in the discussion – is that over the course of 181 AB’s, he’s struck out just as much as he’s walked. This means he (a) has a swing with holes in it which can be exposed and/or (b) he’s aggressive and flails. Have a blessed day.
