Ranking All of Today And Tomorrow’s SP Streamers – 8/14 & 8/15

Nick Pollack ranks every SP Streamer for today and tomorrow.

Here are your morning rankings for today’s starting pitcher options.

It’s not perfect and will be far from the actual results at the end of the day, though it should give guidance for those questioning who to slot into your lineup on a given day.

There is a second table for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.

Pitchers highlighted in yellow = Possible streaming options.

FS = False Starter where there is an assumed opener actually starting the game.

Spencer Howard really low. I didn’t love him last time out either. Should I roll him out tonight? Or hang tight. My ratios are in decent shape and we went innings pitched over wins to give you some insight on my thought process.

    • Nick Pollack says:

He’s low because the Phillies have detailed that it’s a “piggy-backed” start with him and Vince Velasquez.

      • Don says:

Velasquez pitched in relief last night though and he’ll probably be need to start on the 20th for that double header. I think Howard will get a traditional start. No?

  2. David says:

    Hey Nick,

Great article as usual. I’m just curious which 2 start pitcher you prefer for next week. J. Montgomery or Canning?

  3. theKraken says:

5 bad plays on the TEX infield tonight for Lance Lynn and Nick Solak embarrassing himself in CF. One of the worst defensive games I have ever seen. Lynn was really brilliant working around all of that incompetence in Coors.

  4. theKraken says:

Kirby Yates with the strangest line you will see tonight. Truly amazing.
