Happy Opening Day everyone and welcome back to our Relievers to Stream for Wins and Saves series! This will bring you up-to-date bullpen depth charts every morning for the day’s games and makes for a great tool for those of you looking to stream saves or wins. With it being opening day, there’s not much to talk about as far as save vultures or bulk relievers go, but it is the debut of our officially unofficial bullpen depth charts. This series runs 7 days a week, so be sure to check in every morning to get your daily bullpen fix!
Notes
- Aroldis Chapman will be out for the first two games of the season, so Chad Green figures to be in line to possibly sneak in a save in week 1. He makes for a good play for this week.
- Rafael Dolis is questionable for Opening Day, as he’s been battling back spasms for the past few weeks. However, he has avoided the IL, so he should be able to work in some capacity this weekend. Whether he will be closing is another question, but I’d imagine the Jays are leaning towards Jordan Romano, given that he’s been healthy this spring.
- Kyle Gibson only made 3 starts this spring, finishing with 10 IP and going 5 innings his last time out. If he fails to get through 5 innings today, expect Kyle Cody to work after him and have a chance at a win in a matchup with the Royals.
- The Red Sox and Orioles game for today has been postponed due to weather, so be sure to take your Red Sox and Orioles players out of your lineup. The Nationals and Mets have also been postponed for Covid protocol, so be sure to adjust your lineups accordingly.
