The Hitter Edition of the Stash List is back for the 2026 season.
This Stash List highlights the 10 best-hitting prospects likely to make an impact during the 2026 season.
Prospects are often thought of as only holding value in dynasty formats. However, redraft leagues, especially those that are keeper leagues, can benefit from finding the right hitter to stash at the right time on the waiver wire. Several have a 2026 ETA, and getting ahead of the curve on rostering these prospects is a key part of roster management. So let’s break down the Top 10 prospects to start off the 2026 season.
Ground Rules
- The Stash List is for your redraft leagues and does not consider impact beyond 2026.
- Only current minor league players who are expected to make an impact this season are included.
- Upside, proximity, health, and opportunity are all weighed for each player.
- The focus is on 12-team leagues with standard categories.
- Rankings will be updated weekly.
- Stats will be updated weekly for all players through Saturday’s games.
The Stash List
Graduates/Call Ups
The Brewers promoted Luis Lara to the Majors on July 7 and the 21-year-old out of Venezuela has held his own so far, going 4-for-14 with four walks and two RBI over his first five Major League games. Lara caught many people’s attention after a scorching hot May when he hit .370/.491/.500 with a 18.8% walk rate and 12.8% strikeout rate over 26 games.
With the Brewers outfield limited to just him, Jackson Chourio, Sal Frelick, and Garrett Mitchell right now, Lara should see plenty of playing time to start out the second half of the season with Milwaukee.
Top 10 Hitting Prospects to Stash
1. Charlie Condon, 1B/OF – Colorado Rockies
2026 MiLB numbers
If you told someone Charlie Condon would have a .289/.414/.584 slash line, 20 home runs, 60 RBI, 75 runs scored, a 14.5% walk rate, and 23.8% through 79 games at Triple-A this season, they may wonder what he’s still doing there at this point in the season. Alas, Condon is still at Triple-A Albuquerque as we reach the Mid-Summer Classic, and that’s mainly because there’s no room for him on the 40-man roster with how well the Rockies lineup has been since June 1.
The Rockies lineup has hit .269/.347/.475 with 56 home runs, 206 RBI, and 215 runs scored in that stretch, and with everyone hitting as well as they have in that stretch, it’s hard to find room for Condon on the active roster. Things may change, though, when the Rockies open the second half at home against the Cincinnati Reds, so keep an eye out for what transactions could come their way and if Condon could finally see his MLB debut in the near future.
2. James Tibbs III, OF – Los Angeles Dodgers
2026 MiLB numbers
It’s been a while since we’ve checked in on James Tibbs III, but the Dodgers outfield prospect has continued to swing a hot bat this year, with a .289/.406/.553 slash line, 21 home runs, 71 RBI, a 142 wRC+, 65 walks, and 100 strikeouts over 87 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season.
It’s a similar story for Tibbs as it is for Condon at this point in the year. Both have swung the bat well throughout the year at Triple-A, but with where they’re at in the organizational depth chart and not already having 40-man roster spots, it’s hard for them to find room on the roster, especially with so many other hitters on the Major League rosters hitting so well.
With the Dodgers’ Major League roster much deeper in depth than the Rockies’, Tibbs is likely going to hold out longer in the Minors than Condon, but if he keeps up this performance at Triple-A, there’s a case to be made for Tibbs to be on the Dodgers active roster come September.
3. Jesús Made, SS – Milwaukee Brewers
2026 MiLB numbers
The National League Future All-Stars didn’t make much noise in Sunday’s Futures Game, but Jesus Made put up a solid performance for them. He was 1-for-3 with the lone RBI in the NL Futures 6-1 loss, and even though it wasn’t his best game of the week, it still helped back up why many have Made ranked as the best prospect in all of baseball.
Made enters the break with a .276/.347/.442 slash line, nine home runs, 58 RBI, 56 runs, 26 stolen bases, a 9.8% walk rate and 15% strikeout rate over 76 games. It’s a solid performance for a 19-year-old who’s spent all year at Double-A, and if he can come out of the all star break hot, then it may not be too much longer before he finds himself a call away from the Majors in Triple-A.
4. Joshua Baez, OF – St. Louis Cardinals
2026 MiLB numbers
5. Seaver King, SS – Washington Nationals
2026 MiLB numbers
Seaver King was placed on the 7-day IL in the past week due to an oblique strain. He last played on July 1 and is likely out for another month before he returns to game action.
It’s a tough setback for the Nationals infield prospect who looked as though he had a real shot of joining their roster sometime soon after the All-Star break. Now, King will likely be a September call-up for the Nationals at best, as long as he can produce at a high level once he comes off the IL.
6. Leo De Vries, SS – Oakland Athletics
2026 MiLB numbers
One of the top prospects who shined in the Futures game on Sunday, Leo De Vries, was 1-for-2 and stole back-to-back bases after his single to start the game.
De Vries has also held his own as a 19-year-old phenom in Double-A, putting up a .286/.376/.444 slash line, 11 home runs, 39 RBI, scored 51 runs, and swiped 31 bags over 75 games. The second half of the season will be fun to watch, whether De Vries or Made is the first to make it to the Majors. If their performances in the Futures Game are any indication of who it’ll be first, it’s looking to be De Vries, especially with his abilities on the base paths.
7. Max Clark, OF – Detroit Tigers
2026 MiLB numbers
Max Clark was red hot out of the gate to start the year, but it’s otherwise been an up-and-down season for him. He missed out on the Futures Game for a third year in a row, but he was at least swinging a decent bat going into the break.
Clark has a .289/.413/.526 slash line, two home runs, three RBI, 17.4% walk rate, and 10.9% strikeout rate over his last 10 games. With the Tigers looking like sellers for the upcoming trade deadline, sitting at a 44-52 record on the season, the chances for him to reach the Majors may not come until after the deadline. But once he arrives, he may be ready to alter the Tigers’ course for the remainder of the season.
8. Walker Jenkins, OF – Minnesota Twins
2026 MiLB numbers
| AVG | HR | SB | BB% | K% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.306 | 5 | 7 | 13.1 | 15.2 |
One of the more controversial calls of the Futures Game came with Walker Jenkins on the bases. He attempted to steal third base in the top of the fourth. By all accounts, he looked safe, but third base umpire Shane Sullivan didn’t call him safe.
Aside from a bad caught stealing call, Jenkins showed off his plate discipline skills well in his first-ever Futures Game, drawing two walks, scoring a run, and ending the day 0-for-1.
Jenkins finished the break at 42 games on the year, and he’s performed well despite missing seven weeks on the year. Jenkins has a .306/.404/.497 slash line, five home runs, 16 RBI, seven stolen bases, 29 runs scored, a 13.1% walk rate, and 15.2% strikeout rate on the year, and as the only one of the Twins’ big three hitting prospects who’s healthy coming out of the break, he’ll be a player to watch coming out of the break.
9. Angel Genao, SS – Cleveland Guardians
2026 MiLB numbers
While the Guardians have already called up their top infield prospect, Travis Bazanna, who earned himself a nod to the All-Star Game as a rookie. Another top infield prospect may not be far behind him, as Angel Geano has put up a solid performance in Triple-A Columbus over recent weeks.
Over his last 18 games, Genao has put up a .412/.506/.647 slash line, with three home runs, 9 RBI, four stolen bases, and rode a 12-game hitting streak into the break for the Clippers. While the Guardians’ infield has been strong of late, minus Jose Ramirez, who has been out with a broken hamate bone, Genao may be waiting in the wings for a bit longer before the Guardians call him up. Still, if you’re looking for a scrappy middle infielder with strong plate discipline and plenty of contact, Genao is your guy to stash.
10. Michael Arroyo, 2B/OF – SEA
2026 MiLB numbers
Michael Arroyo is not known for his defense, which makes it a good thing that it doesn’t go towards any points in fantasy leagues. Arroyo is a more power-prone second baseman, and his swing helped him earn a promotion to Triple-A Tacoma in the last week.
In 71 games this season, Arroyo has put up a .293/.368/.481 slash line, 12 home runs, 50 RBI, 53 runs scored, six stolen bases, an 8.2% walk rate, and 16.7% strikeout rate. The plate discipline still needs some work, and struggling in the PCL could expose more weaknesses than expected. But it should also showcase some of his power in ways that have yet to be seen, which will make him a fun prospect to follow in the second half.
