The Hitter Edition of the Stash List is back for the 2026 season.
This Stash List highlights the 10 best-hitting prospects likely to make an impact during the 2026 season.
Prospects are often thought of as only holding value in dynasty formats. However, redraft leagues, especially those that are keeper leagues, can benefit from finding the right hitter to stash at the right time on the waiver wire. Several have a 2026 ETA, and getting ahead of the curve on rostering these prospects is a key part of roster management. So let’s break down the Top 10 prospects to start off the 2026 season.
Ground Rules
- The Stash List is for your redraft leagues and does not consider impact beyond 2026.
- Only current minor league players who are expected to make an impact this season are included.
- Upside, proximity, health, and opportunity are all weighed for each player.
- The focus is on 12-team leagues with standard categories.
- Rankings will be updated weekly.
- Stats will be updated weekly for all players through Saturday’s games.
The Stash List
Graduates/Call Ups
The Brewers’ shortstop of the future, Cooper Pratt, has finally arrived in the Majors. Pratt has gone 6-for-16 over his first five games in the majors, swiped three stolen bases, and has a couple of RBI on top of it. Pratt is still searching for his first home run, or any extra-base hit for that matter. But with his arrival in the majors, he will be getting plenty of playing time, which Brewers fans will be enjoying over the weeks leading into the All-Star break.
Top 10 Hitting Prospects to Stash
1. Charlie Condon, 1B/OF – Colorado Rockies
2026 MiLB numbers
Charlie Condon continues to put up productive at-bats of late, as he has a .255/.397/.673 slash line, six home runs, 19 RBI, 11 walks, and 14 strikeouts in June. Condon’s production took a while to warm up this season, but a couple more weeks like he’s had in June, and there’s no question that he’ll have made his case to get the call-up for his MLB debut.
The Rockies’ infield has remained relatively healthy over the past few weeks, so if Condon is going to get the call-up soon, it will have to be performance-based.
2. Kaelen Culpepper, SS – Minnesota Twins
2026 MiLB numbers
Kaelen Culpepper landed on the 7-day IL this past Tuesday with a left hip strain, retroactive to his early exit against the Toledo Mud Hens last Saturday, June 13. Fortunately, the IL stint is expected to be brief, as long as he returns and remains healthy after a few games in the field. It shouldn’t be much longer before he gets the call-up to the majors.
If Culpepper hadn’t left last Saturday’s game with an injury, it’s more than likely he would have been called up to the majors instead of Kyler Fedko. As deserving as Fedko’s call-up has been for him, Culpepper is still the Twins’ highest-ranked prospect who has been performing at a high enough level to get an MLB promotion. That promotion will come soon enough, so fantasy managers will have to be patient for a bit longer before Culpepper returns from the IL.
3. Jesús Made, SS – Milwaukee Brewers
2026 MiLB numbers
With Cooper Pratt getting promoted to the majors this week, it shouldn’t be much longer before Jesús Made finds himself being moved up to Triple-A Nashville. The 19-year-old phenom prospect has put up a .278/.350/.333 slash line, seven RBI, two stolen bases, five walks, and 11 strikeouts over 15 games in June.
While it’s not the hottest stretch he’s had this season, Made is still holding his own against the competition in Double-A. Give it a couple more weeks of upside production, with some more power and a few more stolen bags, and it will help him get one step closer to the majors.
4. Joshua Baez, OF – St. Louis Cardinals
2026 MiLB numbers
5. Seaver King, SS – Washington Nationals
2026 MiLB numbers
The Nationals’ first-round pick from the 2024 MLB Draft, Seaver King, has been living up to his billing this season, as he’s put up a solid .317/.389/.538 slash line on the year between Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester. The Wake Forest product struggled in his first full year of pro ball in 2025, putting up a .244/.294/.337 slash line with a 5.8% walk rate on the season, along with a 21.1% strikeout rate, with just six homers and 43 RBI.
King’s speed was his greatest asset last season, with 30 stolen bases between High-A and Double-A. This year, he’s not swiping as many bags as frequently, but with a much more disciplined approach at the plate, that has been a fair trade-off in his results.
The Nationals have had a strong up the middle with their infield this year. CJ Abrams has continued to flourish as one of the game’s top run producers with 16 home runs and 56 RBI on the season, but the same can’t be said for Nasim Nuñez, who is just hitting .230 with no home runs and 24 RBI on the season. If the Nationals want to send Nuñez back down to the minors, then King may get his best opportunity in the majors at second base.
6. Leo De Vries, SS – Oakland Athletics
2026 MiLB numbers
Leo De Vries continues to trend in the right direction with more power returning to his swing over the past week. After a month with a home run, De Vries has slugged three solo shots over his last eight games while striking out eight times and walking seven.
De Vries appears to be taking a more disciplined approach with his swing, and it’s paying off with his power so far. He’s also hit a couple of doubles over his last eight games, indicating that he’s feeling more confident with the power in his swing going forward. De Vries may not move up the A’s farm system ladder as fast as his counterpart in the Brewers system, Made, but there’s still a good chance he could find himself in Triple-A sometime this next month if he keeps up the production in his swing.
7. Max Clark, OF – Detroit Tigers
2026 MiLB numbers
Max Clark has a hard time finding consistency at the plate this season. He was hot to start the year, but struggled in May, putting up a .232/.305/.326 slash line, one home run, 10 RBI, a 7.6% walk rate, and 17.1% strikeout rate in 23 games.
June has been better, as Clark has a .271/.368/.441, three home runs, seven RBI, a 13.2% walk rate, and 14.7% strikeout rate over 15 games. It seems Clark is beginning to find a stride this month, but he needs to find more consistency over a three-week stretch before the Tigers consider bringing him up to the Majors, and not be exposed once he gets the call.
8. Ryan Waldschmidt, OF – Arizona Diamondbacks
2026 MiLB numbers
| AVG | HR | SB | BB% | K% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.295 | 5 | 6 | 11.4 | 24.4 |
Ryan Waldschmidt is back down in the Minors after Lourdes Gurriel Jr. returned from the IL. Waldschmidt held his own over his first 33 games in the majors, putting up a .259/.314/.357 slash line, but missed out on his first career home run and had a 32.8% strikeout rate over 122 plate appearances.
Waldschmidt has torn things up in the minors this year, and with various other injuries hitting the Diamondbacks of late, it won’t be long before he finds himself back in the majors.
9. George Lombard Jr., SS – New York Yankees
2026 MiLB numbers
George Lombard Jr. continues to swing a hot bat in June, putting up a .306/.426/.571 slash line, 14.8% walk rate, 21.3% strikeout rate, two home runs, and four RBI over 14 games. Power is a bit more inconsistent for him at Triple-A, but as long as Lomard is holding his own, hitting above .300, then he’ll be in a good spot to produce and continue to make his case to get the call-up to the Yankees later this season.
10. Luis Lara, OF – Milwaukee Brewers
2026 MiLB numbers
After a red-hot May, Luis Lara has hit a cold streak in June. He’s only played in 11 games and put up a .167/.300/.167 slash line, three RBI, two stolen bases, walked seven times, and struck out eight.
The good news is he’s still making solid contact on the ball and putting it in play, but he’s getting unlucky with where the ball is being hit, and it’s caused a slump. Given the Brewers were willing to give him a contract extension before making his MLB debut, they have a belief in his future abilities as a big leaguer.
