Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings Fantasy Baseball: 6/13 & 6/14 & 6/15

Best SP streamers and rankings for today & tomorrow & day after.

SP Streamers for today's, tomorrow's and the day after tomorrow's games for fantasy baseball.

Every day of the 2025 baseball season, I'll be looking at today's and tomorrow's slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.

There's a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on Playback.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am - 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Playback AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don't answer comments on the site.

There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:

Auto-StartJust do it. Don't overthink this, start the man. This includes "if I have them rostered, I'm starting them" pitchers.

Probably Start - I'm likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we'd like there to be. Either it's a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I'm starting them in the majority of situations.

Questionable StartThink of this tier as "I don't want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse." Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I'm targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.

Do Not StartThe reward is not worth the risk. Don't do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.

Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.

Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I'd consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I'm only trying to help!

Make sure to read the notes if you're wondering why I'm favoring certain pitchers over others - I won't get to everyone and hopefully I answer what questions you will have.

There is a second table for tomorrow's starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.

And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that I am forced to pick a streamer every day. Those highlighted in Green are that day's streaming pick in the second tier and I'd roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you're searching for something on a given day, but I don't recommend streaming unless you're in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don't want to start (they are labeled as "Do Not Start", after all) but have no other choice. Don't stream these guys until you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as "rostered in 20% or fewer leagues" according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I'd be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there's no fun in that.

(Opener) - Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we're ranking offenses, granted by our PLV powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):

PLV Projections Team Offense Ranking (6/9 Update)

Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense's Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you're going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results!

To spice up these streaming recommendations, I've included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I'll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.

These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by "Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?" Roughly a "PQS" with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Playback chat.

Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a "Streaming Win," no loss is granted.

Friday 6/13 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Auto-Starts

Paul Skenes @ CHC - Aces gonna ace.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto vs. SFG - Aces gonna ace.

Garrett Crochet vs. NYY - Aces gonna ace.

Logan Webb @ LAD - Aces gonna ace.

Freddy Peralta vs. STL - He's a "Cherry Bomb" and let's hope he throws secondaries for strikes.

Clay Holmes vs. TBR - There hasn't been much to dissuade you from starting "The Adobe"

Probably Starts

Cade Horton vs. PIT - I really dig Horton's refined arsenal and ability to earn outs with his cut-fastball. This should be a fun one.

Chris Paddack @ HOU - Paddack is pitching at his peak with his slider turning into the strike pitch he's needed for a while + stellar four-seamer command.

Bryce Elder vs. COL - It's "Rockie Road" and he's fresh off a 12-strikeout game.

Michael Wacha vs. ATH - It's not in "Sacré Verde". Wacha is a solid "Holly" with a good chance for six frames.

Kevin Gausman @ PHI - Hey Gausman, the splitter is all good, right?

Ranger Suárez vs. TOR - I hate starting LHP against the Jays, though Suárez's command is as good as we've seen.

Gavin Williams @ SEA - It's a good matchup and Williams' new cutter adoration sets him up for success.

Luis Castillo vs. CLE - I don't love Castillo facing a ton of LHB, but at least he's "@TEA".

Mitchell Parker vs. MIA - I'm a fan of LHP against the Marlins and Parker's four-seamer is in a good place.

Edward Cabrera @ WSN - I'd have him higher if not for tossing just four frames in his last start + the Nationals having success against RHP.

Questionable Starts

Adrian Houser @ TEX - He's become a QS darling at 95 mph and great extension + it's the Rangers. Not the greatest ratio ceiling, though.

Keider Montero vs. CIN - It's the "Reds Carpet", though Montero is, uh, Montero. Hopefully the slider takes him to the finish line.

Taj Bradley @ NYM - Bradley is a "HIPSTER" whose success depends more on his own mechanics than the opponent's strength.

Erick Fedde @ MIL - He's a "Toby" in a decent matchup.

Luis Severino @ KCR - Severino is better away from "Sacré Verde" (little surprise there) and this is a decent matchup. He's a little too volatile for me in most cases, though.

Do Not Starts

Ryne Nelson vs. SDP - He wasn't in a groove last time and it's the Padres. There's a chance for decency here if the four-seamer is on point, though.

Colton Gordon vs. MIN - There's some hope with Gordon from the left side, but I think it's all pretty blegh.

Nick Martinez @ DET - I may be too low on this one with the Tigers cooling down a bit. That said, Martinez isn't carrying a massive ceiling, either. He's a desperate QS play.

Ryan Yarbrough @ BOS - He was burned by the Sawx in Yankee stadium and now "The Fratty Pirate" has to walk the plank in Fenway. Nooope.

Stephen Kolek @ ARI - Kolek throws strikes and doesn't do a whole lot with his arsenal to take a chance against the Sneks.

Charlie Morton vs. LAA - His curve has to be peak to make this work.

Jack Kochanowicz @ BAL - We haven't see the Jack of One Trade become the Master of One this year.

Dane Dunning vs CHW - This could be Jacob Latz following as the Rangers push their arms back a day, though Latz threw 25 pitches two days ago and Dunning is stretched out to 70 pitches.

Germán Márquez @ ATL - Here's to the curve doing well on a rare date outside Coors.

Friday 6/13 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Saturday 6/14 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Auto-Starts

Jacob deGrom vs. CHW - Aces gonna ace.

Spencer Strider vs. COL - Not an ace, but hot dang that's "Rockie Road".

Joe Ryan @ HOU - Aces gonna ace.

Carlos Rodón @ BOS - Aces gonna ace. Prove it.

Hunter Brown vs. MIN - Brown is still weird and it doesn't matter.

Jack Flaherty vs. CIN - Get excited for the "Reds Carpet" for Flaherty.

George Kirby vs. CLE - He's fresh of 14 strikeouts, though facing LHB will be tough without a legit changeup/splitter.

Matthew Boyd vs. PIT - It's the Pirates.

Drew Rasmussen @ NYM - Rasmussen is cruising with his heaters.

Probably Starts

Cristopher Sánchez vs. TOR - I hate playing a LHP against the Jays, though the changeup should cook.

Tanner Bibee @ SEA - I'm not sold Bibee is fixed yet, though "@TEA" should help the cause.

Questionable Starts

Tylor Megill vs. TBR - Megill's slider has become a major focus of his last two outings, though the whole package is still a bit off. We haven't seen high heaters mixed with inside sinkers and effective, low sliders for a while.

Jose Quintana vs. STL - He's a "Toby" in a command groove. It's a lower floor than others, but I think this generally works.

Zac Gallen vs. SDP - Gallen isn't pitching as poorly as the lines have suggested and yet, it's the Padres and the results have been all over the place this year. He's become a major "HIPSTER".

Tomoyuki Sugano vs. LAA - I dig Sugano's command against LHB, but against RHB, this may be a bit of a struggle.

Tyler Anderson @ BAL - Anderson's changeup is legit, though the rest is highly suspect.

Clayton Kershaw vs. SFG - He just got a dub against the Cardinals with a stellar feel for his slider. Maybe it'll return again...?

Landen Roupp @ LAD - It's the Dodgers. The upside is still there, but y'all know the risk.

Do Not Starts

Michael Lorenzen vs. ATH - At least it's not in "Sacré Verde".

Andre Pallante @ MIL - This could be awfully boring for 5-6 frames of decent production. The floor is rough.

Brady Singer @ DET - I hate that the slider has failed to return whiffs for a while now and it's the Tigers.

Jacob Lopez @ KCR - It's possible he's able to whip four-seamers and cutters upstairs effectively with his extension from the left side. His floor is pretty terrible, though.

Trevor Williams vs. MIA - #NeverTrevor.

Aaron Civale @ TEX - Civale will make his first start for the CrySox as his Win chance drops + the volatility of a new team merged with his lack of breaker feel adds another layer of concern.

Ryan Bergert @ ARI - It's the Sneks and Bergert's four-seamer/slider combo has to be at its best for this to work.

Chase Dollander @ ATL - He's out of Coors at least. Dollander isn't polished enough to roll with.

Mike Burrows @ CHC - We haven't seen Burrows put it all together yet and you don't want to face the Cubs.

Hunter Dobbins vs. NYY - In Fenway. Against the Yankees, who just demolished him.

Bowden Francis @ PHI - You cannot trust Francis in the slightest.

Valente Bellozo @ WSN - Absolutely not.

Sunday 6/15 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

New for PL Pro members - I am making the streaming table for an extra day out (no write-ups as these pitchers change often). I wanted to add a bonus for those who support us without taking anything away from everyone else, and I thought this was a good compromise.
