The Hitter Edition of the Stash List is back for the 2026 season.
This Stash List highlights the 10 best-hitting prospects likely to make an impact during the 2026 season.
Prospects are often thought of as only holding value in dynasty formats. However, redraft leagues, especially those that are keeper leagues, can benefit from finding the right hitter to stash at the right time on the waiver wire. Several have a 2026 ETA, and getting ahead of the curve on rostering these prospects is a key part of roster management. So let’s break down the Top 10 prospects to start off the 2026 season.
Ground Rules
- The Stash List is for your redraft leagues and does not consider impact beyond 2026.
- Only current minor league players who are expected to make an impact this season are included.
- Upside, proximity, health, and opportunity are all weighed for each player.
- The focus is on 12-team leagues with standard categories.
- Rankings will be updated weekly.
- Stats will be updated weekly for all players through Saturday’s games.
The Stash List
Graduates/Call Ups
Braden Montgomery was called up by the White Sox on Tuesday, June 9, and has gone 5-for-18 so far across his first five MLB games, marking another week of call-ups. Another player previously on the stash list also made his MLB debut on Friday, June 12, Blaze Jordan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Jordan has gone 4-for-11 in his first three big league games, and hit his first MLB home run in Saturday’s 9-6 win over the Cardinals.
Top 10 Hitting Prospects to Stash
1. Charlie Condon, 1B/OF – Colorado Rockies
2026 MiLB numbers
Charlie Condon is finally having a hot streak with power in his swing, as over his last 15 games, Condon owns a .291/.426/.745 slash line with seven home runs, 19 RBI, and a 169 wRC+. It’s taken a while for the power in Condon’s swing to be consistent this season, as before his first home run on this hot streak on May 23rd, he hadn’t hit one since April 12th with the Albuquerque Isotopes.
If Condon can keep up this current hot streak for more than 10 games, then there’s a good chance he can make his case to be called up to reinforce the basement-dwelling Rockies lineup and provide plenty more fun for the Coors Field faithful this summer.
2. Kaelen Culpepper, SS – Minnesota Twins
2026 MiLB numbers
Kaelen Culpepper will be in the majors before June is over. The Twins’ number two prospect has been on fire over his last 17 games, putting up a .318/.423/.561 slash line, with five home runs, eight RBI, five stolen bases, 15 runs scored, a 14.1% walk rate, and 12.8% strikeout rate.
The Twins have been on a skid of late, going 5-11 in their last 16 games. They have been rolling out a veteran rotation of Tristan Gray, Ryan Kreidler, and Orlando Arcia at shortstop over those 16 games, and even though they are respectable service players, the Twins cannot keep rolling with three bench players as their starting shortstops every other night for much longer.
Culpepper exited Saturday night’s Saints game early, with only one report from Baseball America’s Emily Waldon saying he ‘looked stiff’ after a defensive play in the bottom of the fourth inning of their 6-1 win over Toledo. While many have already suspected that Culpepper was removed for his MLB call-up, this has yet to be confirmed.
Twins Kaelen Culpepper has been removed from the game here in Toledo. Have not been told a confirmed reason, but he looked a bit stiff after a play from SS in the last inning.

Injury precaution or not, there is still plenty of reason to keep Culpepper as a stashed player on any fantasy roster. Whenever the Twins call him up, he’ll be a spark in their lineup to turn the season in a better direction and help them build for a competitive future.
3. Jesús Made, SS – Milwaukee Brewers
2026 MiLB numbers
Jesús Made has hit a bit of a cooling-off period in his last 10 games, as he’s put up a .250/.325/.417 slash line with a home run, seven RBI, four walks, four strikeouts, and a stolen base. The 19-year-old phenom has continued to make Double-A pitchers look like fools, and he’s shown enough promise to earn a promotion up to Triple-A Nashville.
The only problem is that Made won’t move up until either Cooper Pratt or Jett Williams earns their promotions to the majors to clear a spot for regular playing time for Made. Neither Williams nor Pratt has been swinging the hottest bats all year in Triple-A, so it could still be some time before the Brewers move their top prospect up a level.
4. Joshua Baez, OF – St. Louis Cardinals
2026 MiLB numbers
It was a slow start out of the gate in 2026 for the St. Louis Cardinals‘ top outfield prospect. In his first 25 games, Joshua Baez put up a .221/.315/.474 slash line with six home runs, 15 RBI, but had an alarming 35.2% strikeout rate and 8.3% walk rate.
Baez has been on a scorcher the past two weeks, putting up a .396/.434/.917 slash line with six home runs, 16 RBI, and 15 runs scored over his past 53 plate appearances, playing much more up to his level. The strikeout rate has been cut down to 24.5% in this 11-game stretch, but he’ll need to show more consistency with plate discipline and bring the strikeout rate down closer to 20%.
While on the 40-man roster, the Cardinals have been getting plenty of production from Jordan Walker and Nathan Church in the corner outfield spots, but Victor Scott II has only put up a .196/.271/.261 slash line in 60 games this year. If the Cardinals are willing to trade off defensive assurance for more pop in the bat, then fantasy owners should keep an eye out for Baez arriving in the majors soon.
5. Seaver King, SS – Washington Nationals
2026 MiLB numbers
The Nationals’ first-round pick from the 2024 MLB Draft, Seaver King, has been living up to his billing this season, as he’s put up a solid .315/.391/.534 slash line on the year between Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester. The Wake Forest product struggled in his first full year of pro ball in 2025, putting up a .244/.294/.337 slash line with a 5.8% walk rate on the season, along with a 21.1% strikeout rate, with just six homers and 43 RBI.
King’s speed was his greatest asset last season, with 30 stolen bases between High-A and Double-A. This year, he’s not swiping as many bags as frequently, but with a much more disciplined approach at the plate, that has been a fair trade-off in his results.
The Nationals have had a strong up the middle with their infield this year. CJ Abrams has continued to flourish as one of the game’s top run producers with 14 home runs and 51 RBI on the season, but the same can’t be said for Nasim Nuñez, who is just hitting at the Mendoza line at .200 with no home runs and 20 RBI on the season. If the Nationals want to send Nuñez back down to the Minors, then King may get his best opportunity in the majors at second base.
6. Leo De Vries, SS – Oakland Athletics
2026 MiLB numbers
Leo De Vries continues to hit well at the plate with a .298/.404/.404 slash line, 15.8% walk rate, 17.5% strikeout rate, five stolen bases, two doubles, one home run, and four RBI over his last 12 games.
De Vries’ home run on Friday was his first in 87 plate appearances, but his power was missing for most of the last month. He was rarely getting extra-base hits and just stringing together singles. Now that the home run drought is out of the way, he should be on a trend to get more power back into his swing.
7. Max Clark, OF – Detroit Tigers
2026 MiLB numbers
After 118 plate appearances without a home run, Max Clark is finally finding the power in his swing again. Even with a home run in place for the first time in over a month, Clark has continued to struggle in his last 10 games with a .195/.327/.415 slash line, 14.3% walk rate, 16.3% strikeout rate, three home runs, five RBI, and no stolen bases.
The drop in performance from Clark has been a disappointment in the first two months of the 2026 season, but there are some signs of encouragement with a couple of home runs in the 10-game stretch, since he only had one home run in all of April. There’s still plenty of baseball to be played, so there’s a chance he can rebound and help the Tigers’ struggling lineup.
8. Cooper Pratt, SS – Milwaukee Brewers
2026 MiLB numbers
| AVG | HR | SB | BB% | K% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.244 | 6 | 17 | 13.2 | 14.3 |
The Milwaukee Brewers have plenty of infield depth at the top of their minor league system, but none may be as close to the majors as Cooper Pratt is right now. Pratt started the season out slow, putting up a .205/.338/.308 slash line with two home runs and 12 RBI, but had a stellar 15.4% walk rate and 14% strikeout rate over his first 31 games on the year.
The last 26 games have fared much better for Pratt, as he now has a .290/.372/.490 slash line, four home runs, 20 RBI, six stolen bases, a 10.4% walk rate, and 14.8% strikeout rate. Adding more power to his swing has been a trade-off with the plate discipline that exemplified his early-season performance, but Pratt is putting together a much more consistent track record that is helping his case to reach the Majors this summer.
Pratt, unlike his counterparts, Made, Luis Lara, and Jett Williams, is at least on the Brewers’ 40-man roster. So once they deem him ready to boost an already strong infield, Pratt will find himself contributing to an already electric Brewers offense.
9. George Lombard Jr., SS – New York Yankees
2026 MiLB numbers
After a bad start to his career at Triple-A, George Lombard Jr. is finally getting into the swing of things with Scranton. Over his last 12 games, he owns a .289/.400/.533 slash line, 14.5% walk rate, 23.6% strikeout rate, two home runs, four RBI, and two stolen bases.
The drop-off in performance to start his career at Triple-A is not entirely surprising for a 20-year-old, so as long as Lombard keeps turning a corner, he’ll prove to be worth keeping on stash lists for a later-season call-up.
10. Luis Lara, OF – Milwaukee Brewers
2026 MiLB numbers
He hasn’t been swinging as hot a bat as the week prior, but Luis Lara is still putting together solid at-bats, as he has a .311/.436/.400 slash line, 17.9% walk rate, 14.3% strikeout rate, and four RBI over his last 13 games.
Lara is not going to be hitting home runs every night, but as long as he’s racking up stolen bases and hitting above .300, he’s a lower-ranked top-100 prospect that fantasy managers need to have stashed.
