Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.
Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.
There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.
There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:
Auto-Start – Just do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.
Probably Start – I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.
Questionable Start – Think of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.
Do Not Start – The reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.
Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.
Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!
There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.
As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):
Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).
To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.
These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.
Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.
(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Monday 6/15 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Zack Wheeler vs. MIA – Aces gonna ace.
Chase Burns vs. NYM – Aces gonna ace.
Probably Starts
Shota Imanaga vs. COL – He’s returned plenty of whiffs in three of his last four and it’s Rockie Road, even in June Wrigley.
Dustin May vs. SDP – May has been a solid Toby as of late and it’s hard to resist.
Walbert Ureña @ ARI – Despite not having his changeup last time out, Ureña still made it work. He’s been shockingly consistent for teams as a starter.
Questionable Starts
Troy Melton @ HOU – Despite the last outing and few strikeouts overall, Melton still has an arsenal I like with above-average command.
Ryne Nelson vs. LAA – Without eclipsing three strikeouts across his last five outings, Nelson is a tough sell at the moment. At least it’s the Angels.
Jared Jones @ ATH – Jones wasn’t terrible against the Dodgers, and as a proper hold through the rough schedule, I’d heavily consider starting him to at least secure some strikeouts, hoping he keeps a high floor.
Eric Lauer vs. TBR – Lauer finally returned four-seamer whiffs last start and hopefully he can replicate it against the Rays.
J.T. Ginn vs. PIT – He’s no longer in Vegas. But it’s Sacré Verde. Yeaaaah, doesn’t help things.
MacKenzie Gore vs. MIN – I want to believe Gore’s last start was a step toward producing consistent value. We need to see the results before banking on it.
Nick Martinez @ LAD – It’s the Dodgers and Nick’s absurdly low strikeout rate should give you heavy pause.
Do Not Starts
Ryan Gusto @ PHI – There’s some intrigue in Gusto’s wide arsenal that suggests success if he were to get runway in the rotation. I wouldn’t expect it here, but monitor it for next week.
Andrew Alvarez vs. KCR – The breakers can be cool, but the fastballs are too underwhelming.
Kai-Wei Teng vs. DET – Teng is armed with breaking pitches that can miss bats and find whiffs, though he struggles to command them, with poor fastballs as support.
Lucas Giolito @ STL – Giolito needs to go at least five with 92/93 mph velocity before we can talk.
Michael Lorenzen @ CHC – He just took them down in Colorado…yeah don’t.
Mike Paredes @ TEX – This is likely a bullpen game.
Mitch Spence @ WSH – The Royals traded for Spence in February and will make a spot start. I sure hope the Ras-Pack is alive and well.
Tobias Myers @ CIN – With Scott heading to the IL, Myers could go longer than a typical opener, but is highly unlikely to go five.
Tuesday 6/16 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Gerrit Cole vs. CHW – He’s trying to get his AGA tag back, and it’ll come down to commanding his stuff far better than in his last two. It was hard to pick SP #1 here, y’all.
Logan Gilbert vs. BAL – Gilbert is Gilbert. I fear he’s a premium Cherry Bomb and not a reliable stud.
Jesús Luzardo vs. MIA – Luzardo and Gilbert are two peas in pod. How much I’d love to be fly on the wall for that.
Dylan Cease @ BOS – Oh hey! Another premium Cherry Bomb!
Payton Tolle vs. TOR – Wow, is Tolle of the same vein, too?
Drew Rasmussen @ LAD – Rasmussen is vying for his AGA tag, and there’s a case to be made that this could be a coronation day. After all, I’m going with this against the Dodgers.
Probably Starts
Reid Detmers @ ARI – Detmers has given us two straight outings of bliss, even if his slider feel is a bit suspect.
Merrill Kelly vs. LAA – Kelly is a solid Toby against a poor squad.
Foster Griffin vs. KCR – Ditto for Griffin.
Justin Wrobleski vs. TBR – Wrobo Cop had a rough play with a comebacker strike him, then a collision at first covering the bag. He left the game shortly after and we’re all glad he’s back on the bump after sitting 95+ mph once again.
Questionable Starts
Hunter Brown vs. DET – He’s back! It’s a Still ILL and I hope he finds his fastballs out of the gate.
Michael King @ STL – This has been such a terrible stretch for King, and I fail to believe he’ll stay in the hole for long.
Edward Cabrera vs. COL – It’s Rockie Road, but it’s June Wrigley for a volatile arm.
Framber Valdez @ HOU – I have a feeling Valdez will wake up in this one, surrounded by his former home and community.
Brandon Young @ SEA – Young has displayed multiple times that he has the ability to go 5+ without a ton of damage. It’s not the highest ceiling, even in @TEA.
Davis Martin @ NYY – Martin got back on the horse against Atlanta and it’s possible it continues against the Judge-less Yankees.
Kumar Rocker vs. MIN – Rocker’s slider + cutter approach is good, not awesome. If the fastballs were better, I’d be more on board.
Michael Wacha @ WSH – It’s been a string of disappointing outings for Wacha, and despite having a strong changeup against a LHB-heavy lineup, I suggest holding back if you can.
Slade Cecconi @ MIL – Cecconi had two productive outings against the Yankees and here’s to hoping it sticks for the Brewers. His cutter velocity has fluctuated, while the curveball goes in and out, making me skeptical it can last.
Do Not Starts
Zebby Matthews @ TEX – Zebby has a worse arsenal than last year without gains in his command inside the zone.
Robert Gasser vs. CLE – My gut is telling me Gasser is a worthwhile stream against a lineup without JRam. I also don’t have a good picture of his current skills and leash since his last game came in Vegas.
Tyler Phillips @ PHI – Phillips has some intrigue, and if he does well enough here, he’ll be in the Questionable Start tier for his start against the Giants after.
Andre Pallante vs. SDP – Pallante had success against the Mets by locating his four-seamer inside to LHB effectively, while the slider and sinker performed normally to RHB. I wish I could believe he could replicate it more times than not.
Jack Perkins vs. PIT – At least it’s not in Vegas.
Mitch Keller @ ATH – Keller has a terrible floor and it’s Sacré Verde.
Brady Singer vs. NYM – We finally had a good start from Singer and I’m not ready to believe it to be the norm, even against the Mets.
Grant Holmes vs. SFG – The REB has his moments. I don’t expect this to be one of them.
Adrian Houser @ ATL – Maybe the sinker churns enough outs?
David Peterson @ CIN – Peterson has given us no reason to trust him.
Ryan Feltner @ CHC – It’s the Colorado pitcher.
