Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.
Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.
There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.
There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:
Auto-Start – Just do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.
Probably Start – I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.
Questionable Start – Think of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.
Do Not Start – The reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.
Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.
Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!
There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.
As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):
Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).
To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.
These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.
Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.
(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Thursday 6/4 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Chris Sale vs. TOR – Aces gonna ace.
Zack Wheeler vs. SDP – Aces gonna ace.
Carlos Rodón vs. CLE – I hope it’s another step closer to the AGA tag.
Probably Starts
Shota Imanaga vs. ATH – Yes, he’s allowed a lot of HRs. He’s still at 92 mph, is a three-pitch arm (four-seamer, splitter, sweeper), and should have a solid WHIP.
Jared Jones @ HOU – The results weren’t spectacular for this Still ILL, but the stuff was UNREAL. Let’s hand wave the first one and jump on board against a RHB-heavy lineup with rust likely shaken off.
Justin Wrobleski @ ARI – He’s increasing his velocity and starting to expand the arsenal. The Sneks aren’t enough to deter this one.
Questionable Starts
Seth Lugo @ MIN – Lugo is a decent Toby with his kitchen sink arsenal.
Brayan Bello vs. BAL – As long as he has an opener, there’s a chance Bello makes it work for 5+ frames. I don’t see a massive shift, though.
Ryne Nelson vs. LAD – It’s the Dodgers. Nelson still has a decent shot to go 6+ with good ratios.
J.T. Ginn @ CHC – Ginn was incredible, horrible, then solid. Let’s hope the blip was just a recovery day after chasing history, but be careful inside Wrigley at this time of year.
Do Not Starts
Trevor Rogers @ BOS – Rogers looked better in his last outing, but the Sawx are stronger against southpaws and Fenway is no fun.
Kai-Wei Teng vs. PIT – My comp for him is the mercurial McCullers. I hope you get some strikeouts.
Coleman Crow vs. SFG – He sits 91 mph and the feel for spin isn’t enough.
Slade Cecconi @ NYY – It’s an inconsistent Slade + the Yankees.
Adrian Houser @ MIL – This hasn’t worked well at all this year.
Lucas Giolito @ PHI – He’s sitting 90 mph. Ouch.
Blue Jays Bullpen @ ATL – Yesavage was pushed to Friday.
Twins Bullpen vs. KCR – With Simeon Woods Richardson DFA’d, it’s a bullpen game.
Friday 6/5 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Bryan Woo @ DET – Aces gonna ace.
Drew Rasmussen @ MIA – It’s Miami.
Jesús Luzardo vs. CHW – Luzardo has been on a roll. Super solid after his first four outings.
Parker Messick @ TEX – He’s a Holly in a great place to pitch.
Probably Starts
Michael King vs. NYM – King has been a bit volatile, but it’s the Mets.
Ryan Weathers vs. BOS – Weathers is getting all the strikeouts.
Ben Brown vs. SFG – Despite my lack of faith in Brown’s sustainability and Wrigley’s horrible June splits, it’s the Giants and Brown’s sinker has been far more effective to RHB than expected. I still worry he needs a true third pitch when he doesn’t want to throw a curve when batters are sitting heater.
Michael Wacha @ MIN – He’s been on such a heater this year.
Framber Valdez vs. SEA – Valdez’s curveball hasn’t clicked into place yet. It always does at some point and the Mariners are not a team to fear.
Merrill Kelly vs. WSH – Kelly is a low-end Holly against a LHB-lineup that should struggle against his changeup.
Roki Sasaki vs. LAA – Three starts, three different paths to success. I wonder if we’ll see one of them (outlier fastball movement, sliders sitting away to RHB, excellent BSB precision).
Trey Yesavage vs. BAL – He was pushed from Thursday to Friday and I wonder if he can find some stability after 5 ER vs. Miami, then seven walks. Get that dang splitter down and find the feel for the slider to RHB, k thx.
Sonny Gray @ NYY – It’s the Yankees, but we generally hold our nose and do our dance for a Sonny day.
Foster Griffin @ ARI – He’s a Toby in a good matchup.
Questionable Starts
Christian Scott @ SDP – I dig Scott’s growth lately, though the Friars are better against RHB.
Zebby Matthews vs. KCR – Zebby was hit with regression in his last outing, showcasing the floor we feared. I’m not convinced he’s better than his 2025 self, and I’m glad he gets an easier lineup here.
Peter Lambert vs. ATH – Lambert is a decent Toby hosting a slightly above-average offense. He’s a good play for QS leagues.
Robbie Ray @ CHC – This is the weirdest stretch I’ve seen from Ray in a long time and now he has to endure Wrigley at the worst time of year. Good luck.
Reid Detmers @ LAD – Detmers has been a classic SNIP SNAP SNIP SNAP lately and we need his best against the Dodgers.
Kumar Rocker vs. CLE – I’m shocked I have him here, but I do like that he’s leaning into his slider and cutter far more than at the start of the year. There’s a chance for a decent ERA in lovely Arlington.
Anthony Kay @ PHI – Despite my concerns about the process, Kay has had a string of solid ratio outings and the Phillies aren’t the scariest bunch, especially if he can silence their LHB as a southpaw.
Do Not Starts
Brandon Young @ TOR – There’s intrigue in his four-seamer upstairs, but the upside is limited.
Tyler Phillips vs. TBR – I’m curious how long he’ll go an if he demands our attention after this one.
Martín Pérez vs. PIT – We’ve see Pérez have some moments this year + a decent Win chance with his hot offense behind him. DON’T YOU DARE DFA ME AGAIN.
Kyle Leahy vs. CIN – Leahy is close to being the guy we want him to be. I’m still waiting for it to fully come out and don’t want to risk it in Cincy.
Jack Perkins @ HOU – We haven’t seen Perkins getting the pearl in the first for a while. There are moments I see how it all works and others where the inefficiency is too much + the stuff doesn’t take him far enough.
Mitch Keller @ ATL – It’s Keller’s floor + Hotlanta’s lava.
Brady Singer @ STL – Singer has a good matchup and yet, he hasn’t done a whole lot of good for your teams this season.
Brandon Sproat @ COL – It’s Coors for a guy who has been unable to get over the hump. This may be his last shot.
Ryan Feltner vs. MIL – It’s the Colorado pitcher in Coors.
