Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.
Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.
There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.
There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:
Auto-Start – Just do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.
Probably Start – I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.
Questionable Start – Think of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.
Do Not Start – The reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.
Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.
Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!
There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.
As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):
Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).
To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.
These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.
Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.
(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Saturday 6/27 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Chase Burns @ PIT – Aces gonna ace.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto @ SDP – Aces gonna ace.
Logan Gilbert @ CLE – Aces gonna ace.
Dylan Cease vs. TEX – Cease is what he is. Expect strikeouts and hopefully the WHIP is in check.
Logan Webb vs. ATL – Webb is looking like classic Webb, and we’re getting close to coronation day.
Kyle Harrison vs. CHC – Harrison’s curve and change have taken a small step back, and I’m expecting them to return. Still great without them.
Probably Starts
Gerrit Cole @ BOS – Cole’s command has been off. It should return in time and given how good the stuff is and how terrible the Sawx are against RHP, you’re still doing it.
Framber Valdez vs. HOU – Valdez finally found his curveball in his last start and here’s to hoping it’s the start of one of his patented stellar stretches.
Reid Detmers vs. ATH – Detmers’ slider was much better last start despite the rocky ratios. Now at home, this could be a great outing.
Foster Griffin @ BAL – Griffin has been a strong Toby – borderline Holly! – and I don’t suggest holding back now.
Jared Jones vs. CIN – If Jones is starting after the comebacker to his elbow, so are you. The Reds have really struggled against high four-seamers from RHP.
Questionable Starts
Jack Perkins @ LAA – Perkins is looking as good as I’ve seen him and now he’s outside of Sacré Verde against a poor set of hitters.
Andre Pallante vs. MIA – He’s been locating his four-seamer well enough + the slider/sinker is still working. It’s a weak enough offense to let this fly.
Davis Martin vs. KCR – Martin has gone all SNIP SNAP SNIP SNAP and just treat him like a Toby.
Bryce Elder @ SFG – It’s the Giants, creating a chance for this to be a branch along Elder’s fall from grace.
Michael Wacha @ CHW – Wacha just had a rebound outing, but how good was it really?
José Cabrera @ TBR – It was an impressive MLB debut with far more strikes than we normally see from his peers. The Rays instill little fear and this could be a quiet night of five solid frames.
Brandon Young vs. WSH – Young has surprised lately, but I’m not sure I want to buy into him heavily.
Slade Cecconi vs. SEA – Cecconi is throwing more sinkers and swapped his cutter for sliders in his last start. Can’t say I love that.
Alan Rangel @ NYM – Rangel is an interesting arm with an actual screwball and Estrada-change. His massive over-the-top arm angle at 92 mph isn’t may favorite, but the Mets could flounder at the rare approach.
Jake Bennett vs. NYY – Bennett is an intriguing arm, but the Yankees are great against LHP.
Do Not Starts
Christian Scott vs. PHI – It’s a Still ILL for Scott, even if it was a minimum stay. Let’s see where he is before trusting him.
Mike Paredes vs. COL – He’s stretched out to five frames now against Rockie Road, and I still don’t want to go after it.
Ryan Gusto @ STL – Gusto has some intrigue, but not enough to trust him against the Cards.
Randy Vásquez vs. LAD – Vásquez isn’t earning the whiffs we saw at the start of the year.
David Peterson @ MIL – He was traded to the Cubs this morning after Ben Brown hit the IL. The good news? He won’t be on a team that commits six errors in a given night.
Kai-Wei Teng @ DET – He’s a Werewolf at best. Don’t bank on the strikeouts coming through.
Michael Grove (Opener) vs. ARI – It’s likely a bullpen game for the Rays, with Grove as the possible vulture Win arm.
Winston Santos (Opener) @ TOR – Like Grove, it’s a bullpen game for the Rangers and Santos could be the guy finishing the fifth.
Michael Lorenzen @ MIN – Oh dear.
Sunday 6/28 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Chris Sale @ SFG – Aces gonna ace.
Drew Rasmussen vs. ARI – Aces gonna ace.
Jesús Luzardo @ NYM – It’s the Mets.
Hunter Brown @ DET – Brown wasn’t peak last start, expect better.
George Kirby @ CLE – Let’s be thrilled it’s the Guardians, who will serve up all the LHB to Kirby.
Kyle Bradish vs. WSH – Bradish’s breakers have been legit.
Brandon Woodruff vs. CHC – Woody just struck out ten Reds batters in his Still ILL. Hard to bench him here.
Probably Starts
Gavin Williams vs. SEA – I’m optimistic Gavin will have a more even split of four-seamers and sinkers after featuring an elite heater last game.
Carlos Rodón @ BOS – Rodón hasn’t had all three pitches working yet. It will in time.
Emmet Sheehan @ SDP – Sheehan is much better than the ERA will tell you and the Padres are rough.
Robbie Ray vs. ATL – Ray’s arsenal is getting a little better with each start.
Sonny Gray vs. NYY – He’s Sonny or Gray regardless of the opponent and his sweeper was so good last game.
Questionable Starts
Brady Singer @ PIT – Singer’s command was phenomenal to LHB in his last start, marking three straight productive outings.
Anthony Kay vs. KCR – It’s the Royals and Kay just had his most convincing outing of the year.
Merrill Kelly @ TBR – His changeup is still good enough to make him a Toby.
Connor Prielipp vs. COL – I’ve been disappointed with Prielipp, but it’s Rockie Road and his changeup finally was a bigger character last time out.
Mitch Keller vs. CIN – If you need a QS, the Reds have been shaky lately.
Luinder Avila @ CHW – Avila has been generally fine. Then again, the White Sox just put up 22 runs so…
Kumar Rocker @ TOR – He just had a Golden Goal with 20 whiffs. I don’t think the Jays will go fishing on the slider as much as the Marlins did, but it’s possible.
Michael King vs. LAD – King was better last time out, but he’s still wearing a TIARA, not a crown, and it’s the Dodgers.
Shane Bieber vs. TEX – His Still ILL was the reason the rule exists. Now we wonder if it was rust getting shaken off or if he’s truly not worthwhile.
Do Not Starts
Kyle Leahy vs. MIA – Leahy may deserve the third tier against the Marlins, but I’m still waiting for a safer floor. Him and Pallante have been moved up with Dustin May getting a week off.
Tyler Phillips @ STL – Phillips has a little bit of upside, though I’m not taking the chance.
Aaron Civale @ LAA – At least he’s not in Sacré Verde and could go at least five.
Jack Flaherty vs. HOU – It’s a Still ILL for Flaherty. I’m not interested.
Sam Aldegheri vs. ATH – This rarely works out.
Zack Littell @ BAL – Will they let him go five? Will it be any good?
Vince Velasquez @ MIL – The Cubs are so hampered with injuries that VV hath returned. I truly hope he blows away our expectations.
Ryan Feltner @ MIN – Absolutely not.
Tobias Myers vs. PHI – He’s not even stretched out.
