Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.
Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.
There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.
There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:
Auto-Start – Just do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.
Probably Start – I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.
Questionable Start – Think of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.
Do Not Start – The reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.
Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.
Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!
There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.
As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):
Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).
To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.
These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.
Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.
(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.
Nick’s 2026 Streamer Record: 54-37
My Pick yesterday: Loss – Javier Assad @ NYM (W): 5.0 IP, 3 ER, 5 Hits, 2 BB, 5 K
My Pick today: Ian Seymour (Opener) vs. KCR
My Pick tomorrow: Keider Montero vs. HOU
PL Pro Members have access to my 14-Day Sit/Start SP Grid, which ranks all expected starters into four tiers over the next 14 days. Here is an example from last season.
PL Bot’s 2026 Streamer Record: 48-43
PL Bot’s Pick yesterday: Loss – Sean Manaea vs. CHC (ND): 3.0 IP, 3 ER, 6 Hits, 2 BB, 4 K
Thursday 6/25 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Cristopher Sánchez @ WSH – Aces gonna ace.
Cam Schlittler @ BOS – Aces gonna ace.
Bryce Miller @ PIT – He’s not getting piggypacked. I’m wagering he won’t again. The journey to AGA begins.
Kevin Gausman vs. TEX – He just got rocked and you’re smart enough to brush it off and start him here.
Probably Starts
Landen Roupp vs. ATH – If you’re not well-versed with Roupp, he’s turned a page in his book this year.
Troy Melton vs. HOU – Melton finally returned strikeouts last start and has continued to locate his arsenal well.
MacKenzie Gore @ TOR – It appears as though Gore has made a breakthrough, and I’d take the chance.
Questionable Starts
Freddy Peralta vs. CHC – That last start was so dang bad. He’s not that unlucky, but he sure hasn’t been stellar often enough to justify a clear start.
Connelly Early vs. NYY – Early had a great line, but not the best underlying skills that would make me confident here against the Yankees.
Matthew Boyd @ NYM – We’re finally getting Boyd back and it’s a Still ILL in most cases.
Seth Lugo @ TBR – He failed to return a strikeout last time out, but he’s still a good QS play.
Bubba Chandler vs. SEA – I fail to believe that Chandler has figured it out, but he has looked a little better as of late. Please go Dancing With The Disco.
Tatsuya Imai @ DET – I know Imai just struck out a ton of batters, but he’s so unpredictable. Good luck.
Ian Seymour (Opener) vs. KCR – It’s the Royals, though Seymour isn’t pitching absurdly well and it’s hard to understand what leash the Rays will put him on.
Cade Cavalli vs. PHI – Cavalli breaks the Huascar Rule and is generally only productive against weak offenses.
Do Not Starts
Michael McGreevy vs. ARI – This is a QS/ratio play that doesn’t have the greatest ceiling.
Jeffrey Springs @ SFG – Wow, Springs vs. Roupp. As much as they want them, I don’t expect sunshine and rainbows.
Zac Gallen @ STL – Gallen hasn’t been worth your time in a while.
Friday 6/26 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Jacob Misiorowski vs. CHC – Aces gonna ace.
Paul Skenes vs. CIN – Aces gonna ace.
Zack Wheeler @ NYM – Aces gonna ace.
Max Meyer @ STL – His heater is just so good.
Nathan Eovaldi @ TOR – Eovaldi’s ERA should be far lower.
Probably Starts
Payton Tolle vs. NYY – It’s the Yankees.
Dustin May vs. MIA – This will be far better than his last outing.
Will Warren @ BOS – He’s a little precarious without stellar seconaries, but the Red Sox are terrible against RHP.
Andrew Abbott @ PIT – Abbott has been solid whether I fully believe it or not.
Walbert Ureña vs. ATH – Ureña found his changeup last time out and that’s good enough for me.
Roki Sasaki @ SDP – Sasaki isn’t totally trustworthy, but the success has been there enough that I imagine you’re giving it a go.
Questionable Starts
Joey Cantillo vs. SEA – Cantillo had more velocity and a heavy emphasis on his curveball last time out that I sure hope sticks around.
Trevor Rogers vs. WSH – Rogers finally got the results his arsenal has deserved. Hopefully he can replicate it.
Nick Martinez vs. ARI – Martinez is still surviving and the Sneks lack bite.
Luis Castillo @ CLE – The shackles of the piggyback have been removed from Castillo and he fortunately faces a weak offense in Cleveland. Sadly, I don’t think his mix demands success.
Spencer Arrighetti @ DET – Will the Pasta Pirate flex a wider pitch selection instead of hyper reliance on the curveball and four-seamer? I hope so.
J.T. Ginn @ LAA – Ginn is out of Sacré Verde, but his velocity has been declining. Fortunately, the Angels are not a tough squad.
Keider Montero vs. HOU – Montero is a WHIP darling and has a good slider to deal with the Astros. Don’t expect the best ERA or many strikeouts, though.
José Cabrera @ TBR – It was an impressive MLB debut with far more strikes than we normally see from his peers. The Rays instill little fear and this could be a quiet night of five solid frames.
Connor Prielipp vs. COL – I’ve been highly disappointed in Prielipp’s performances over the last month, but Rockie Road always lifts the floor.
David Sandlin vs. KCR – Sandlin is back! There’s upside here if you’re looking for a big play on a Friday. The floor is terrible, though.
Do Not Starts
Andrew Alvarez @ BAL – He’s yet to go five full innings and while the slider/curve are good, they aren’t so good.
Patrick Corbin vs. TEX – Corbin hasn’t proven himself worthwhile, though there is always a chance at 5/6 innings of decency.
Trevor McDonald vs. ATL – McDonald hasn’t had his slider cooking for ages. It’s awfully frustrating.
Walker Buehler vs. LAD – It’s been a lovely stretch for Buehler, however unsustainable. The wall is likely to be hit in this revenge game.
Stephen Kolek @ CHW – Kolek is on paternity leave and Spence is stepping in. I’m not expecting much of anything.
Tomoyuki Sugano @ MIN – He’s away from Coors and has been shockingly efficient at earning Wins. Just saying.
Reynaldo López @ SFG – It’s ReyLo! I have zero expectations.
David Peterson @ MIL – He was traded to the Cubs this morning after Ben Brown hit the IL. The good news? He won’t be on a team that commits six errors in a given night.
Tobias Myers vs. PHI – The bad news? He’s on a team that just committed six errors on a given night. And he’s not stretched out. Yikes.
