Starting Pitcher Streamer Ranks Fantasy Baseball: 6/9 & 6/10 & 6/11

Best SP streamers and rankings for today & tomorrow & day after.

Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.

Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.

There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.

There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:

Auto-StartJust do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.

Probably Start I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.

Questionable StartThink of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.

Do Not StartThe reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.

Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.

Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!

There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.

And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.

As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):

PLV Projections Team Offense Ranking (6/6 Update)

Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).

To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.

These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

To get access to PL Bot’s picks each day, sign up for PL Pro here.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.

Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.

(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Tuesday 6/9 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Auto-Starts

Paul Skenes vs. LAD – Aces gonna ace.

Zack Wheeler @ TOR – Aces gonna ace.

Chase Burns @ SDP – Aces gonna ace.

Nathan Eovaldi @ KCR – He’ll throw a ton of strikes and get all the outs. Trust the legit Holly.

Gerrit Cole @ CLE – Aces gonna ace, though he has to prove he can adapt from last outing.

Logan Gilbert @ BAL – Even without Gilbert being an ace, this is a clear play.

Payton Tolle @ TBR – Tolle’s fastballs have been hard to hit, and I hope we see the secondaries showcase the ability to step up if the heaters fail.

Max Meyer vs. ARI – The sliders have the best fastball foundation Meyer’s ever had.

Probably Starts

Freddy Peralta vs. STL – Peralta is a Cherry Bomb and that’s all good with us.

Troy Melton vs. MIN – I’d expect the strikeouts to appear in time, but even without them, he’s precise and locates well enough to get through frames efficiently.

Questionable Starts

Dustin May @ NYM – I’m getting mixed signals about May’s next outing, with Hunter Dobbins possibly opening this game, even though he’s expected to go on Thursday. I’m expecting it to be May, and that’s a clear play given how well he’s pitched lately.

Walbert Ureña vs. HOU – Ureña hasn’t been incredible, but he’s been serviceable.

Stephen Kolek vs. TEX – Kolek has performed better than expected and rebounded after his fatigued post-CGSHO start.

Dylan Cease vs. PHI – It’s a Still ILL for Cease, who is volatile regardless of injured list stints.

J.T. Ginn vs. MIL – This is in Vegas and it may mean Ginn should be far lower. There is an argument for Ginn’s sinker returning grounders if he’s on point, and he’s flexed that ability often across the last few weeks.

Taj Bradley @ DET – Bradley’s command has been shaky in his last two, reminding us of his 2025 shenanigans.

Nick Martinez vs. BOS – The regression hit last week, and after such a long stretch of success, he deserves some consideration for a mulligan.

Trevor Rogers vs. SEA – Rogers’ ability to elevate his four-seamer and keep his changeup down is appearing more often. It could mean his redemption tour has begun.

Do Not Starts

Andrew Alvarez @ SFG – If the leash is off, Alvarez’s breakers could be good enough in a great park against a terrible lineup. Too bad the fastballs are so blegh.

Eric Lauer @ PIT – Lauer isn’t earning the four-seamer whiffs you want to confidently start him.

Zac Gallen @ MIA – Gallen, even against the Marlins, ain’t it.

Grant Holmes @ CHW – I don’t like trusting the REB in general, let alone against plenty of LHB.

Lucas Giolito vs. CIN – Giolito’s velocity sat 92+ mph in the early frames of his last start and may be creeping back up. I’d wait and see, still.

Slade Cecconi vs. NYY – He just took down the Yankees with plenty of cutters and curveballs. I don’t think he can pull off that trick twice.

Robert Gasser @ ATH – It’s in Vegas. Oh no.

Kai-Wei Teng @ LAA – Even against a poor lineup, Teng can’t be trusted.

Adrian Houser vs. WSH – If Houser can execute the front-hip sinker consistently, there’s a chance. Too low of a ceiling to gamble with.

Colin Rea @ COL – It’s Coors. Sorry, Rea.

Tomoyuki Sugano vs. CHC – It’s Coors and the Cubs.

Erick Fedde (Opener) vs. ATL – You can’t trust him.

Wednesday 6/10 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Auto-Starts

Shohei Ohtani @ PIT – Aces gonna ace.

Chris Sale @ CHW – Aces gonna ace.

Drew Rasmussen vs. BOS – He’s a trusted Holly.

Carlos Rodón @ CLE – You know he’s a Cherry Bomb who is worth your time.

Jesús Luzardo @ TOR – Also a Cherry Bomb, not as definitively worth your time, but highly likely to be worth your time.

Probably Starts

George Kirby @ BAL – Kirby hasn’t been a lock as he once was. He should be one, but I understand playing it cautious for an Orioles squad who can pack some thump.

Michael King vs. CIN – He’s the King without his crown at the moment. The command should return, but there’s a chance it’s another rough WHIP outing.

Ryne Nelson @ MIA – Nelson is a premium Toby in a great matchup. You can get more strikeouts, I just know it.

Framber Valdez vs. MIN – If you have Valdez, you can’t risk leaving a potential seven-inning shutout on your bench.

Christian Scott vs. STL – He’s our streaming pick after displaying the ability to go 5+ with legit potential for six strong.

Foster Griffin @ SFG – He’s a SWATCH against the worst offense in the league in a great place to pitch.

Questionable Starts

Peter Lambert @ LAA – Lambert is a decent Toby against the middling Angels.

Parker Messick vs. NYY – It’s the Yankees and Messick is a Holly who hasn’t blown us away lately.

Reid Detmers vs. HOU – Detmers is fresh off a great outing against the Dodgers, but his skills weren’t the sharpest, especially on his slider. I’m a little worried here.

Jared Jones vs. LAD – I adore the stuff, but the schedule gauntlet is ahead of us (starting here with the Dodgers) and he’s only two games removed from his extended time on the IL. If he shows that stuff prevails, I’d consider him in Sacré Verde and Coors. Shudders.

Robbie Ray vs. WSH – At least Ray got his four-seamer upstairs last time out, and the changeup was fantastic to RHB. Now get that slider back and find the actual zone with the heater.

MacKenzie Gore @ KCR – It’s a great matchup, but can he capitalize? It’s been a bit since I could be truly amped about Gore.

Seth Lugo vs. TEX – Lugo is a kitchen-sink arm with a chance to go through six. Not a bad shot in Kansas City against a middling offense.

Shota Imanaga @ COL – It’s been a HR parade, so of course he heads to Coors now. The good news? The four-seamer and splitter were fantastic last start.

Davis Martin vs. ATL – It’s not looking great for Martin and it’s Hotlanata. I really hope we can jump back in after this.

Do Not Starts

Brandon Young vs. SEA – The four-seamer can be a decent foundation upstairs, though I’m not sold the entire package is special enough to roster.

Jake Bennett @ TBR – There’s some SWATCH hype here with 7.2 feet of extension. His four-seamer command needs to improve a bit, even with his high intent, and the breakers have to fill in the gaps to make this work after a disastrous second start over a month ago. Expect him to stick around if he does decently enough, and Bennett is a worthwhile arm to consider in 15-team formats.

Andre Pallante @ NYM – Pallante feels close to being fantasy relevant and I just hope this is the start where he appears fixed. Get those four-seamers inside to LHB, and split the slider/sinker to RHB.

Brady Singer @ SDP – We really haven’t seen this work. At all. But fine, maybe a PQS or better?

Max Scherzer vs. PHI – It’s a clear Still ILL.

Brandon Sproat @ ATH – This is going to be horrible in Vegas.

Jack Perkins vs. MIL – Ditto.

Michael Lorenzen vs. CHC – It’s Coors against the Cubs.

Ryan Gusto vs. ARI – Is he even going more than a few innings?

Twins Bullpen @ DET – We may see Mike Paredes, and I wouldn’t chase that hypothetical.
