The Hitter Edition of the Stash List is back for the 2026 season.
This Stash List highlights the 10 best-hitting prospects likely to make an impact during the 2026 season.
Prospects are often thought of as only holding value in dynasty formats. However, redraft leagues, especially those that are keeper leagues, can benefit from finding the right hitter to stash at the right time on the waiver wire. Several have a 2026 ETA, and getting ahead of the curve on rostering these prospects is a key part of roster management. So let’s break down the Top 10 prospects to start off the 2026 season.
Ground Rules
- The Stash List is for your redraft leagues and does not consider impact beyond 2026.
- Only current minor league players who are expected to make an impact this season are included.
- Upside, proximity, health, and opportunity are all weighed for each player.
- The focus is on 12-team leagues with standard categories.
- Rankings will be updated weekly.
- Stats will be updated weekly for all players through Saturday’s games.
The Stash List
Graduates/Call Ups
We’re finally in the time of year where struggling teams are calling up their hot-hitting prospects to see how they can impact their big league club. Last week, we just had one call-up with Travis Bazzana; this week, it’s four names mentioned on stash lists this season, with Bryce Eldridge, Ryan Waldschmidt, Joe Mack, and Spencer Jones.
The vacancies of mainstays like Eldridge and Waldschmidt have brought new players to fill their spots on this week’s stash list. Let’s take a look at the new players who are now making their cases to reach the majors this season.
Top 10 Hitting Prospects to Stash
1. George Lombard Jr. , SS – New York Yankees
2026 MiLB numbers
George Lombard Jr. Jr. cooled off after his initial call-up to Triple-A Scranton, but with the Yankees having optioned Anthony Volpe to join him on the RailRiders after opening the 2026 season on the IL, Lombard’s stock is still very high. Lombard has only hit .194/.432/.194 in his first nine games at Triple-A, however, even with any extra base pop present so far, his plate discipline is nothing to baffle at.
Lombard has an incredible 25% walk rate over 44 plate appearances with the RailRiders and a 15.9% strikeout rate. With that sort of plate discipline at Triple-A at just 20-years-old, the power and extra base pop will surely catch up with itself for Lombard Jr. in the coming weeks, and if he can keep up a hot bat while Volpe is sitting at Triple-A, then Lombard Jr. could be the man the Yankees opt to call up if some sort of injury comes up with José Caballero down the line.
2. Henry Bolte, OF – Oakland Athletics
2026 MiLB numbers
Henry Bolte has achieved the impossible of late. Even as the Las Vegas Aviators have played a bad series against the St. Paul Saints, Bolte has been the star of their lineup, getting hits in 12 consecutive plate appearances. Funny enough, the last player to do this in the majors, Jose Miranda, did so as a member of the Saints’ major league team, the Minnesota Twins, back in July of 2024.
But Bolte’s 12 consecutive plate appearances with a hit are not the only reason fantasy owners should be following him right now. He’s been an incredible threat to PCL pitchers both at the plate and on the base paths, as he’s crushed 12 home runs with 28 RBI to go along with them and swiped 16 stolen bases over 36 games with the Aviators.
While he’s currently not on the Athletics‘ 40-man roster, Bolte is certainly making a case for himself to be the guy they call up whenever they need a hitter added to the active roster.
3. Sterlin Thompson, OF – Colorado Rockies
2026 MiLB numbers
Sterlin Thompson continues to swing a hot bat as he owns a .444/.574/.778 slash line with three home runs, 14 RBI, 10 walks, and seven strikeouts over his previous ten games. Thompson has shown he doesn’t have much left to prove at Triple-A, so his call-up to the majors may just be a matter of whether someone on the Rockies’ active roster suffers an injury more than anything else.
He’s already on the Rockies’ 40-man roster, unlike Charlie Condon. So as long as Thompson keeps swinging a hot bat, he’ll find his way up to the majors very soon.
4. Jesús Made, SS – Milwaukee Brewers
2026 MiLB numbers
5. Charlie Condon, 1B/OF – Colorado Rockies
2026 MiLB numbers
Charlie Condon’s numbers may be dropping on the year, but his stock as the best first base prospect to stash has not. Over his last 10 games, Condon has hit .190/.306/.238 with no home runs, just three RBI, six walks, and 13 strikeouts.
Every hitter has their cooling-off period on the season, and as of right now, this looks to be Condon’s. This doesn’t mean it’ll remain that way forever. Condon is at least riding a mini-four-game hit streak going into Sunday afternoon’s game against Sugarland, and it seems to be the start of a better turnaround from the previous 10 games.
6. Leo De Vries, SS – Oakland Athletics
2026 MiLB numbers
Slowly but surely, the strikeout rate for Leo De Vries is dropping, but so too is his average. Over his last 10 games, De Vries is hitting .143/.268/.171 with no home runs or RBI, but has three stolen bases and three runs scored. These are the sorts of numbers most expect a 19-year-old to have at Double-A, when the average pitcher age is 24.
That’s all this cold stretch could be for De Vries, though, a simple cold stretch. He’s still one of baseball’s best prospects, and even they find themselves in slumps as the year goes on. De Vries is still a player for fantasy managers who want to go big and bold this season, and keeping him stashed now will pay off in the end.
7. Max Clark, OF – Detroit Tigers
2026 MiLB numbers
The last 10 games for Max Clark are games he’d like to put behind him. He’s put up a meager .154/.250/.179 slash line over his last 44 plate appearances, with just five walks and 10 strikeouts in that span.
The slump is the worst for Clark on the season so far, but his overall numbers are still keeping his walk rate (11.6%) and strikeout rate (14%) relatively close to one another. The good news is that Clark’s strikeout rate hasn’t climbed above 15%, but he will need to produce some more power to show he’s still ready to be in the majors within the next month.
8. Kaelen Culpepper, SS – Minnesota Twins
2026 MiLB numbers
| AVG | HR | SB | BB% | K% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.245 | 8 | 7 | 10.7 | 20.8 |
Kaelen Culpepper had a bit of an injury scare last Saturday against the Iowa Cubs after he was hit by a pitch on the shoulder and had to exit the game early. Fortunately, he would only miss one game and has had a hot week in Las Vegas, crushing two home runs, two doubles, and six RBI over his last five games.
With both Walker Jenkins and Emmanuel Rodriguez down with injuries, Culpepper is the Twins’ best prospect who is now close to major-league ready. Rodriguez’s stint on the IL is likely the minimum, though, as he sprained his thumb on a bad headfirst slide into first base a week ago. Still, both Culpepper and Rodriguez are making their case to join the major league roster sooner rather than later, as it’s getting late early for Royce Lewis and Matt Wallner, who have both struggled all season for Minnesota.
Wallner has a .172/.267/.302 slash line with four home runs and 10 RBI over 33 games, while Lewis has a .167/.268/.298 slash line with three home runs and 11 RBI over 25 games. If neither seems to turn a corner soon, then Culpepper and Rodriguez could make a case to take their spots on the major league roster.
9. Colt Emerson, SS – Seattle Mariners
2026 MiLB numbers
Colt Emerson has been in a bad slump of late. He has a .200/.326/.543 slash line over his last nine games with a 16.3% walk rate and 32.6% strikeout rate over 43 plate appearances.
Even as the slump continues, the good news is he’s starting to turn a corner. The at-bats are being drawn out longer, getting deeper into counts. The power is beginning to show with three of his four home runs on the season occurring over the last nine games.
Emerson will still need to produce a higher average and cut back on his strikeout rate, but he’s putting himself in a better position to work his way into the Mariners’ plans before the calendar officially turns to summer.
10. Edwin Arroyo, SS – Cincinnati Reds
2026 MiLB numbers
With plenty of great discipline at the plate, Edwin Arroyo has flown under the radar for most of the season so far, but now, he owns a .346/.415/.588 slash line with seven homers, 28 RBI, and 19 extra-base hits over 37 games with Triple-A Louisville, and making a serious case to help reinforce a struggling Cincinnati Reds club.
The Reds’ infield has seen poor production of late from hitters such as Ke’Bryan Hayes, Matt McLain, and Sal Stewart, who are all hitting .194 or below over their last 13 games. The Reds may want to run with their depth at the major-league level without having to send someone down for the time being, but with Stewart being the only one in the trio with options left. His struggles could warrant a reset at Louisville and offer Arroyo (who is already on the 40-man) a call-up to the majors.
