Top 100 Relievers for Save+Hold Leagues: 7/19

Top 100 RP rankings for Saves + Holds leagues in 2024.

Jason Adam and Colin Poche each had three SV+HLDs this past week despite the short week. Adam even added 7 K’s over the weekend, as he finished his impressive 2024 first half in style. Adam, Poche and closer Pete Fairbanks could all be moved this deadline, but for now they remain a pretty impressive late inning trio.

Notes

  • Yimi García and Gregory Soto were added to the list. García is returning from the IL today. Walks are still an issue for Soto but he’s still missing bats and probably has been the better pitcher between Alvarado and himself (definitely since June started).

  • Matt Moore and Calvin Faucher fell off the list this week. Moore continues to struggle with consistency and could be out of a high leverage role after the deadline. Faucher continues to allow too many baserunners despite flashing good stuff. He may still be a factor in August if the Marlins move some bullpen pieces.

I really like reading and checking out this list and using it as guidance but definitely go off script whenever I see something different. The rankings of Kyle Finnegan is one that I have deviated from and I’m glad I have. He has been someone that I’ve used from Day 1 and he has been fabulous for my best record in the league fantasy baseball team. If he gets traded, things may change depending upon where he ends up. I’d just like to see more love for the guy and not go down 7 spots. He got 3 saves this weekend after this article was posted. Keeping doing a great job with analysis.
