Starting Pitcher Streamer Ranks Fantasy Baseball: 7/6 & 7/7 & 7/8

Best SP streamers and rankings for today & tomorrow & day after.

Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.

Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.

There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.

There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:

Auto-StartJust do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.

Probably Start I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.

Questionable StartThink of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.

Do Not StartThe reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.

Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.

Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!

There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.

And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.

As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):

PLV Projections Team Offense Ranking (6/6 Update)

Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).

To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.

These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

To get access to PL Bot’s picks each day, sign up for PL Pro here.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.

Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.

(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Monday 7/6 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Auto-Starts

Cristopher Sánchez @ KCR – Aces gonna ace.

Cam Schlittler @ TBR – Aces gonna ace.

Kevin Gausman @ SFG – Would you look at that matchup.

Probably Starts

Griffin Jax vs. NYY – Jax just threw six frames for the first time all season, marking the second poles to get removed from the scaffolding after throwing 88 pitches in his previous outing. This could be hype.

Landen Roupp vs. TOR – He’s well-versed in bouncing back, and I imagine the genesis of these struggles was his choices on Pride night.

Dustin May vs. MIL – He’ll get the start on Monday and despite the poor results lately, his stuff and command is much better than 2025.

Questionable Starts

Freddy Peralta @ ATL – Good luck, y’all. He really shouldn’t be struggling this much. Sidenote: This isn’t about streaming, but I also suggest holding simply because he should be dealt at the deadline. And if you’re holding, you might as well start him.

Eric Lauer vs. COL – It’s Rockie Road and Lauer is fine. Great Win chance.

Shane Drohan @ STL -Drohan is still not doing enough to get me back on board and the Cardinals have a bit of thump in their lineup.

Reynaldo López vs. NYM – ReyLó is back up to 95 mph and could be back on one of his fun runs.

Do Not Starts

Brandon Pfaadt @ SDP – He didn’t impress me much in his return to the rotation, without a major shift I can latch onto.

Noah Cameron vs. PHI – I wish things were different. It’s simply not working like it did last year.

Mike Burrows @ WSH – Burrows has given us little reason to trust him. I’ve yet to see a start where it all comes together properly.

Miles Mikolas vs. HOU – Come on now.

Walker Buehler vs. ARI – After the HR desolation we saw last time, how could you risk this?

Kyle Freeland @ LAD – Even with a few games of strikeout production, you know this ain’t it.

Tuesday 7/7 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Auto-Starts

Jacob Misiorowski @ S TL – Aces gonna ace.

Tarik Skubal vs. ATH – Aces gonna ace.

Jacob deGrom vs. LAA – Aces gonna ace.

Zack Wheeler @ CIN – Aces gonna ace.

Bryan Woo @ MIA – He’s doing what he can to get back to AGA.

Paul Skenes vs. ATL – Aces gonna ace, and it feels weird putting him this low. There’s a touch of worry that he’s hurt, but I simply believe it’s a rough patch that is amplified by his lack of blemishes across previous seasons.

Max Meyer vs. SEA – Aces gonna ace. Feels good to type that.

Payton Tolle @ CHW – Tolle isn’t the fully polished arm we want him to be, but he’s not going to be benched, and still carries a good floor with his stellar upside.

Probably Starts

Justin Wrobleski vs. COL – Wrobo Cop is on a tear and it’s Rockie Road.

Will Warren @ TBR – Warren is a low-end Holly against a poor team.

Joey Cantillo @ MIN – Cantillo didn’t have a third straight nine-strikeout game, but he does have the same boosted velocity and increased affinity for his stellar curveball.

José Soriano @ TEX – It’s a good matchup that should raise his floor a little more than usual.

Ian Seymour vs. NYY – Seymour has given you the results you dreamed of in his last two and the Yankee offense has shown its cracks.

Andrew Abbott vs. PHI – Abbott does what Abbott does. I don’t love it, but he’s been effective for a while now.

Questionable Starts

Taj Bradley vs. CLE – It’s the Guardians, yet Bradley’s day is defined by his own ability to throw strikes, not his opponent’s quality.

Shane Baz vs. CHC – Baz has shown better command to LHB lately + the sinker to RHB could stabilize him through the second half.

Matthew Boyd @ BAL – We haven’t seen Boyd shake off the rust yet since returning from the IL. Third time may be the charm.

Robert Gasser @ STL – I’m not in love with what Gasser does (we need a proper changeup!), though he’s had success with heaters + a strong sweeper.

Noah Schultz vs. BOS – I wasn’t blown away by Schultz in his Still ILL outing. We haven’t seen a fantastic ceiling yet, nor do I love putting myself in danger of the Shag Rug.

Tatsuya Imai @ WSH – There are few more volatile pitchers in baseball than Imai. It’s such a strange approach that I lean toward avoiding the floor rather than embracing the ceiling.

Do Not Starts

Andrew Alvarez vs. HOU – We have yet to see the Nationals allow Alvarez to complete five innings, though if he is given an opener, I’m more inclined to give this a chance as he could return 5+ strikeouts with decent ratios.

Bryce Elder @ PIT – The time for the Elder to rest has come.

Seth Lugo @ NYM – Lugo can be worthwhile in QS leagues, but the floor heavily outweighs the ceiling, even against the Mets.

Trevor McDonald vs. TOR – I’m still waiting for McDonald to get his old breaking ball back.

Hunter Dobbins vs. MIL – It’s Dobbins! There’s some upside in here, but we need to see it first. He’s here for the doubleheader and will likely not be in the rotation after.

Michael McGreevy vs. MIL – His ideal is a six frames of quiet ratios…without many strikeouts. If you need a QS, I get it. Otherwise, I don’t trust it.

J.T. Ginn @ DET – At least it’s away from Sacré Verde. The Tigers are a good offense and his velocity is still down.

Spencer Miles @ SFG – Maybe he has an opener and steals a Win against a poor offense.

Kodai Senga vs. KCR – He just tossed a fair number of pitches five days ago, making this likely a short outing (four days rest) for a pitcher we aren’t confident in.

Zac Gallen @ SDP – This hasn’t worked in so long, but at least he has the leash.

Jhony Brito vs. ARI – Brito is returning and I have no idea what to expect.

Michael Lorenzen @ LAD – Absolutely not.
