Top 100 Relievers for Save+Hold Leagues: 8/9

Top 100 RP rankings for Saves + Holds leagues in 2024.

Griffin Jax, Justin Martinez, Jorge Alcala, Aroldis Chapman, Lucas Erceg, Kevin Ginkel, Chad Green, Josh Hader, Ryan Helsley, A.J. Puk, Manuel Rodríguez, Tyler Rogers, Ryan Thompson, and Ryan Walker all had three SV+HLDs this past week, with Jax and Martinez picking up 4 a piece. A lot of the usual names here, but one interesting addition is Rodríguez, who was once in consideration to close out games for the Cubs and is now thriving in Tampa Bay. Since returning to the Rays bullpen before the All-Star break, Rodríguez holds a 1.59 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and 26.2% K rate over 11.1 IP.

Notes

  • Ryan Helsley and his 3 saves this past week put him in the lead over Emmanuel Clase who had 0 this week. Helsley’s 36 are 3 more than Clase and 6 more than Yennier Cano, Kyle Finnegan and Andrew Kittredge who all sit at 30 for the season. To also put into perspective how dominant that Helsley number is, there are only 11 relievers with more than 25 SV+HLD’s on the season so far.

  1. Johan Santa says:

Seranthony should be higher. Great stuff, improved command of late, getting leverage opps for BAL since the trade. Honestly low T4 / high T5 for me.

  2. RowdyFellaz says:

Is Evan Williams still top of T3? Still?

  3. Babbo B says:

@RowdyFellaz – seems like most connoisseurs would consider it bottom-shelf ;)
