Welcome to the RP Roundup, my daily fantasy baseball article reviewing every reliever performance from the previous day.
ARI 8 – BAL 5
| Arizona Diamondbacks | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevin Ginkel | 2.0 IP | 1 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 4 K | 7 Whiffs | 38% CSW |
| Taylor Clarke | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 17% CSW |
| Ryan Thompson – W (1) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 25% CSW |
| Juan Morillo – SV (1) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 30% CSW |
- The Diamondbacks chose to give Paul Sewald an extra day off and went with Juan Morillo to close things out here, and it was good to see him make things look easy after the previous night’s outing.
| Baltimore Orioles | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grant Wolfram | 0.2 IP | 1 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 14% CSW |
| Yennier Cano | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 100% CSW |
| Anthony Nunez | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 40% CSW |
| Ryan Helsley | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 3 Whiffs | 55% CSW |
| Tyler Wells – L (1) | 1.0 IP | 2 ER | 3 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 14% CSW |
- Tyler Wells continues to have issues as a reliever, and I wonder if he is the one who gets optioned when this bullpen gets back to full strength. Anthony Nunez has been way too good for them, and Yennier Cano is showing signs of life, too.
CLE 3 – STL 5
| Cleveland Guardians | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Connor Brogdon – L (2) | 1.1 IP | 3 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 22% CSW |
| Tim Herrin | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 50% CSW |
| Matt Festa | 2.1 IP | 1 ER | 3 H | 0 BB | 3 K | 6 Whiffs | 28% CSW |
- Matt Festa had some of his better stuff here (that funky cut four-seamer and sweeper), but it looks like it is going to be hard for him to work his way into any sort of high-leverage role with this bullpen at full strength.
| St. Louis Cardinals | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Justin Bruihl – HLD (2) | 0.2 IP | 2 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 33% CSW |
| JoJo Romero – HLD (5) | 1.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 35% CSW |
| Riley O’Brien – SV (5) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 2 Whiffs | 40% CSW |
- Riley O’Brien continues his dominant start to the season, and I don’t see any reason to believe this can’t stick. He’s going to have some outings where he gets hit around a little bit (life of a sinkerballer), but he shouldn’t have prolonged slumps as long as he is throwing strikes at the rate he has been. Although, despite the zero walks on the year, he holds just a 41.5% Zone rate (Hogan Harris has a 46.7% Zone rate and has walked 12 batters).
BOS 9 – MIN 5
| Boston Red Sox | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Danny Coulombe | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 20% CSW |
| Garrett Whitlock | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 1 BB | 2 K | 2 Whiffs | 27% CSW |
| Ryan Watson | 1.0 IP | 4 ER | 3 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 4 Whiffs | 31% CSW |
- Garrett Whitlock is still not where we want him to be from a stuff or command standpoint. I’m not overly concerned yet, and we should probably wait and see how he looks in actual high-leverage spots first before panicking.

| Minnesota Twins | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Anthony Banda | 1.0 IP | 2 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 29% CSW |
| Justin Topa | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 15% CSW |
| Kody Funderburk | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 2 Whiffs | 21% CSW |
| Eric Orze | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 33% CSW |
- Kody Funderburk and Eric Orze are the only relievers in this bullpen I have any faith in right now (maybe Cole Sands can get back there), but it’s still very underwhelming. This whole bullpen has bad fastballs.
KCR 1 – DET 2
| Kansas City Royals | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Daniel Lynch IV | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 75% CSW |
| Eli Morgan – L (1) | 1.0 IP | 1 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 1 K | 0 Whiffs | 25% CSW |
- Eli Morgan had trouble locating here and his stuff just isn’t good enough to combat his command.
| Detroit Tigers | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tyler Holton | 0.2 IP | 0 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 2 Whiffs | 36% CSW |
| Kyle Finnegan – W (1) | 1.1 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 3 Whiffs | 31% CSW |
| Kenley Jansen – SV (4) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 35% CSW |
- The velocity wasn’t quite where it was at Tuesday night for Kenley Jansen, but it was still up. He looks really good right now, and hopefully, he can keep this up over the entire season.
WSN 0 – PIT 2
| Washington Nationals | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brad Lord | 3.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 5 Whiffs | 31% CSW |
- Brad Lord can give you this line occasionally, but I don’t love or trust the stuff enough to chase this in fantasy leagues.
| Pittsburgh Pirates | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mason Montgomery | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 36% CSW |
| Gregory Soto – HLD (4) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 2 Whiffs | 33% CSW |
| Dennis Santana – SV (2) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 2 Whiffs | 19% CSW |
- Mason Montgomery may be getting close. The commands still questionable, but it’s better than it has been.
- Gregory Soto got the 8th here with Dennis Santana getting the ninth, but that was likely situation-based. Soto came in to face the top of the Nationals lineup (Wood, Mead, Lile), so I think we can still consider this a committee for now.
SFG 3 – CIN 8
| San Francisco Giants | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blade Tidwell | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 5 Whiffs | 54% CSW |
| Ryan Borucki | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 4 Whiffs | 44% CSW |
| JT Brubaker | 2.0 IP | 0 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 2 K | 7 Whiffs | 43% CSW |
- I want to see more of Blade Tidwell with this pitch mix/stuff, please. He was sitting 98 MPH with his fastball here, and that sweeper can be really good. If this velocity sticks, maybe he can be Connor Phillips 2.0 (with potentially better command)?
| Cincinnati Reds | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brock Burke | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 38% CSW |
| Graham Ashcraft | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 22% CSW |
| Pierce Johnson | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 36% CSW |
- Graham Ashcraft allowed a hit and a walk and didn’t strike out anyone, but the stuff looked much better than the line states. I love where he’s at right now.
CHC 11 – PHI 2
| Chicago Cubs | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ben Brown | 2.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 2 Whiffs | 24% CSW |
| Luke Little | 1.0 IP | 1 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 37% CSW |
- Luke Little has always been an intriguing lefty. The guy’s 6’8″ and throws 96 MPH with 7.7′ of extension from a low arm angle. I don’t know how lefties can hit him, but somehow Harper took him deep here (Little did leave a fastball over the plate). Command has always been an issue with him, but if he can figure things out, the Cubs may have something here.
| Philadelphia Phillies | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kyle Backhus | 1.2 IP | 1 ER | 3 H | 0 BB | 3 K | 2 Whiffs | 37% CSW |
| José Alvarado | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 36% CSW |
| Dylan Moore | 1.0 IP | 1 ER | 0 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 23% CSW |
- Much-needed outing here for José Alvarado, who had better stuff and locations here than in his previous few appearances. The Phillies need him to be locked in, as they don’t exactly have great lefty options behind him.
LAA 4 – NYY 5
| Los Angeles Angels | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Drew Pomeranz – HLD (5) | 1.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 2 Whiffs | 27% CSW |
| Jordan Romano – L (2) | 0.1 IP | 2 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 3 Whiffs | 38% CSW |
- Obviously, the Jazz infield pop-up “single” Jordan Romano allowed was not Romano’s fault, but melting down after that was (walk and the Caballero two-run double followed). Romano’s stuff was actually better here than it has been most of the year, but his fastball command is still a mess, and the slider command here was also quite bad. I think we can move on with Drew Pomeranz pitching well and Kirby Yates back soon.

| New York Yankees | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tim Hill | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 38% CSW |
| Fernando Cruz | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 38% CSW |
| Brent Headrick | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 10% CSW |
| David Bednar – W (1) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 3 Whiffs | 50% CSW |
- David Bednar desperately needed this outing, and while he only threw three fastballs, it’s good to see them back above 96 MPH at least.
MIA 3 – ATL 6
| Miami Marlins | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| John King | 1.1 IP | 1 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 31% CSW |
| Andrew Nardi | 1.0 IP | 3 ER | 4 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 18% CSW |
| Calvin Faucher | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 44% CSW |
- Andrew Nardi got some bad luck here. The “double” to Acuna should have been caught (how was this not an error?), then Baldwin hit a changeup down and out of the zone up the middle for a single before hanging a slider to Olson (and then hung another slider that Riley hammered off the wall). Bad outing, but I’m not too worried about this long term.
| Atlanta Braves | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dylan Lee – HLD (2) | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 1 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 33% CSW |
| Tyler Kinley – HLD (1) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 36% CSW |
| Osvaldo Bido | 0.1 IP | 3 ER | 3 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 20% CSW |
| Robert Suarez – HLD (3) | 0.2 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 0% CSW |
| Raisel Iglesias – SV (4) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 3 K | 7 Whiffs | 75% CSW |
- Raisel Iglesias continues his dominant start, but I’m not exactly sure how he managed this dominant of an outing. As long as this is working, though, keep riding it.

TBR 8 – CHW 3
| Tampa Bay Rays | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jesse Scholtens – W (1) | 5.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 2 BB | 3 K | 5 Whiffs | 22% CSW |
| Mason Englert | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 42% CSW |
| Ian Seymour | 1.0 IP | 3 ER | 2 H | 2 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 32% CSW |
- The Rays need some consistency from Ian Seymour now that he is their only lefty, but his stuff was way down here. Hopefully, it’s just an off day and nothing serious.
| Chicago White Sox | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tyler Gilbert | 1.2 IP | 4 ER | 2 H | 2 BB | 2 K | 2 Whiffs | 28% CSW |
| Bryan Hudson | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 21% CSW |
| Reese McGuire | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 44% CSW |
- Reese McGuire with that 44% CSW rate, leading the White Sox relievers, is pretty funny.
TOR 1 – MIL 2
| Toronto Blue Jays | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mason Fluharty – HLD (3) | 0.2 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 3 Whiffs | 23% CSW |
| Braydon Fisher – HLD (3) | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 40% CSW |
| Tyler Rogers – L (1) | 1.0 IP | 1 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 6% CSW |
- These outings are going to happen with Tyler Rogers time to time, just the way it is with someone who doesn’t miss bats. It’s ultimately nothing to worry about.
| Milwaukee Brewers | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DL Hall | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 12% CSW |
| Aaron Ashby – W (4) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 1 BB | 3 K | 6 Whiffs | 52% CSW |
| Abner Uribe – SV (1) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 42% CSW |
- Aaron Ashby may pass Adrian Morejon’s 13 wins from 2025 as he’s already at 4 on the year. He’s more useful in save-only leagues than he is in holds leagues right now.
- This was the best Abner Uribe has looked all season. If he’s somehow available in your league, change that. I’d hold on to Megill for now (he could get the save today, who knows), but Uribe could certainly run with this job, if given the opportunity.

COL 1 – HOU 3
| Colorado Rockies | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jaden Hill | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 1 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 27% CSW |
| Tanner Gordon | 4.0 IP | 0 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 4 K | 11 Whiffs | 27% CSW |
- Tanner Gordon’s fastball actually looked kinda interesting here. Not sure if he has a good offspeed offering, though.
| Houston Astros | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steven Okert – HLD (2) | 0.2 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 43% CSW |
| Bryan Abreu – HLD (2) | 1.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 1 BB | 2 K | 5 Whiffs | 30% CSW |
| Enyel De Los Santos – SV (2) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 1 Whiffs | 36% CSW |
- I wish I could be more positive about this Bryan Abreu outing, but unfortunately, it was still a mess. He got bailed out by this Rockies lineup, but his command is still a huge issue (6/23 pitches in the zone here). Something is still not right here.

- Oh, and Enyel De Los Santos got the save in this one, not Bryan King. De Los Santos is good enough to be the interim closer here for the next couple of weeks, but it’s not an overly exciting profile.
SEA 6 – SDP 7
| Seattle Mariners | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eduard Bazardo | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 45% CSW |
| Gabe Speier | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 8% CSW |
| Andrés Muñoz – L (2) | 0.2 IP | 5 ER | 4 H | 1 BB | 1 K | 4 Whiffs | 31% CSW |
| Jose A. Ferrer – BS (1) | 0.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 0% CSW |
- It’s been a tough week for closers, alright. Andrés Muñoz dealt with some really bad luck yesterday, but if you walk the leadoff hitter, you’re gonna have a bad time. The double to Sheets was a fluke, the single by France was super unlucky, but he allowed some hard contact to Tatis and Campusano before his night ended on another lucky hit to Laureano. Ultimately, Muñoz command was terrible here, and I don’t think there’s any reason to panic after this one outing.

| San Diego Padres | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ron Marinaccio | 2.0 IP | 2 ER | 3 H | 1 BB | 2 K | 3 Whiffs | 21% CSW |
| Wandy Peralta | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 1 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 24% CSW |
| Alek Jacob – W (1) | 2.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 1 BB | 3 K | 8 Whiffs | 38% CSW |
- Welcome back, Alek Jacob, as he earned a win in his first game of 2026. He throws from a very low arm slot (not quite Tyler Rogers, but close), and despite topping out around 85 MPH, he’s always produced solid swing and miss numbers.
TEX 5 – ATH 6
| Texas Rangers | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jalen Beeks – L (1) | 1.0 IP | 1 ER | 1 H | 1 BB | 2 K | 4 Whiffs | 27% CSW |
| Cole Winn | 1.0 IP | 3 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 2 K | 4 Whiffs | 22% CSW |
| Gavin Collyer | 0.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 100% CSW |
| Jacob Latz | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 1 Whiffs | 9% CSW |
- With Chris Martin going on the IL yesterday, the Rangers can’t afford to have Cole Winn jump on the struggle bus as well. His fastball wasn’t great yesterday and got exposed, but I’m willing to give him a few more outings before giving up.
- Gavin Collyer only threw three pitches, but this is intriguing (3000 RPM sweeper, 92 MPH cutter, 97+ MPH fastball with arm side run). This bullpen is wide open, and his AAA numbers were impressive, so Collyer should be someone you are watching.
| Athletics | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hogan Harris – W (1) | 0.2 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 36% CSW |
| Scott Barlow – HLD (4) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 3 Whiffs | 35% CSW |
| Mark Leiter Jr. Jr. | 0.2 IP | 3 ER | 2 H | 1 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 27% CSW |
| Joel Kuhnel – SV (3) | 1.1 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 4 Whiffs | 29% CSW |
- This bullpen remains frustratingly inconsistent, except maybe Joel Kuhnel, who has yet to allow a run or walk anyone. So now that he has three saves, should you go out and add Kuhnel? No, there is no way this ends well, especially with Sacramento being home.

NYM 2 – LAD 8
| New York Mets | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tobias Myers | 2.0 IP | 1 ER | 3 H | 0 BB | 2 K | 4 Whiffs | 23% CSW |
| Devin Williams | 0.1 IP | 4 ER | 3 H | 1 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 26% CSW |
| Austin Warren | 0.2 IP | 1 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 2 Whiffs | 27% CSW |
- After not pitching in over a week, we finally saw Devin Williams again, and he was clearly rusty, while also not getting much help from his defense (looking at you Lindor). The home run to Rushing was on a 0-0 changeup middle up, which is obviously not where you want to locate that. His command wasn’t great (rust factor), but I’m not overly concerned here about Williams.

| Los Angeles Dodgers | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blake Treinen – HLD (4) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 1 H | 0 BB | 1 K | 1 Whiffs | 38% CSW |
| Tanner Scott – HLD (4) | 1.0 IP | 0 ER | 0 H | 0 BB | 0 K | 0 Whiffs | 25% CSW |
| Kyle Hurt | 1.0 IP | 1 ER | 2 H | 0 BB | 3 K | 7 Whiffs | 33% CSW |
- Kyle Hurt likely isn’t the next great Dodgers reliever, but he is solid enough to give them some competent innings when they are dealing with injuries. Good to see his fastball velo in this one at 96.5 MPH.
