Top 100 Relievers for Save+Hold Leagues: 6/14

Top 100 RP rankings for Saves + Holds leagues in 2024.

Bryan Abreu, Yennier Cano, Camilo Doval, Kyle Finnegan, Craig Kimbrel, Trevor Megill, Tyler Rogers and Tayler Saucedo all had three SV+HLDs this past week. Lots of closers and top set up options in this group which is to be expected, but Saucedo is a bit of a wildcard here and someone who just missed out on making the list this week. He’s kind of a poor mans Danny Coulombe as a soft tossing left who has 5+ pitches in his arsenal that he mixes to keep hitters off balance. That said, a 14% K-BB rate and 4.96 PLV isn’t anything to really get excited about.

Notes

  • Ryan Helsley is all alone now as the league leader SV+HLDs for the season with 22 total. Same old thing with Helsley, who now has a 2 SV+HLD lead on the rest of the league.

  • Quick closer update since Closing Time came out on Tuesday. Andrés Muñoz back is still an issue although he was able to pitch last night although his fastball velo was down 1.2 MPH so that is something to keep an eye on. Not overly concerned yet, but do wonder if an IL stint is inevitable.

Once Minter returns, where does he slot in?

  2. Joseph Mulvey says:

Rick, why such a drop for Suarez and Sewald?
    Thanks.
