Starting Pitcher Streamer Ranks Fantasy Baseball: 6/6 & 6/7 & 6/8

Best SP streamers and rankings for today & tomorrow & day after.

Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.

Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.

There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.

There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:

Auto-StartJust do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.

Probably Start I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.

Questionable StartThink of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.

Do Not StartThe reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.

Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.

Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!

There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.

And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.

As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):

PLV Projections Team Offense Ranking (5/18 Update)

Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).

To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.

These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.

Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.

(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Saturday 6/6 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Auto-Starts

Jacob Misiorowski @ COL – Aces gonna ace.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto vs. LAA – Aces gonna ace.

Joe Ryan vs. KCR – Aces gonna ace.

Nolan McLean @ SDP – Let’s get you back into the AGA tier, yeah?

Shane McClanahan @ MIA – It’s the Marlins for a sturdy McShane.

Braxton Ashcraft @ ATL – This would normally be in the second tier, but it’s coronation day for Ashcraft, if you can believe it. I sure hope he comes through.

Probably Starts

Nick Lodolo @ STL – Lodolo’s curve is solid and it’s a good matchup in St. Louis.

Will Warren vs. BOS – Even without the secondaries stepping up this year, Warren’s fastballs are good enough for us to keep rolling with him in 12-teamers without question.

Bryce Miller @ DET – Miller’s stuff is so dang fun right now. With Castillo starting on Sunday, we may see six innings for the first time from Miller.

Spencer Strider vs. PIT – He was down to 95 mph with few four-seamer whiffs last time out, and I’m hoping the entire arsenal is there to help. He should be fine.

Kyle Bradish @ TOR – Maybe this is the game Bradish’s curve and slider are both killing it? That’s all he really needs at this point to establish himself as a trusted Holly and potential ace.

Ben Brown vs. SFG – Despite my lack of faith in Brown’s sustainability and Wrigley’s horrible June splits, it’s the Giants and Brown’s sinker has been far more effective to RHB than expected. I still worry he needs a true third pitch when he doesn’t want to throw a curve when batters are sitting heater.

Questionable Starts

Landen Roupp @ CHC – It’s Wrigley + Roupp just had a disaster outing due to back issues. If he’s starting, it means he’s feeling better, though it could bark at him during the outing, too. Be careful.

Sean Burke @ PHI – Burke is a 15-team HIPSTER. We’ve seen some of the upside when he gets his four-seamer upstairs and has at least one secondary working. We’ve also seen his command go out the window.

Matthew Liberatore vs. CIN – Liberatore has returned more strikeouts lately, and I hope I can get more confidence in his arsenal precision here to push him into the second tier eventually.

Eduardo Rodriguez vs. WSH – He’s on a roll, but just a Toby in my book, not a proper Vargas Rule. Yet.

Jack Leiter vs. CLE – Leiter is the strikeout HIPSTER to chase if you’re looking for strikeouts. I love it’s in Texas, I hate that he’ll get a ton of LHB.

Tatsuya Imai vs. ATH – What are we going to get? I have no idea. The four-seamer/slider two-pitch approach is not enough at all.

Ranger Suarez @ NYY – Suarez pitched well despite the results and I wish this weren’t the Yankees, even if Judge is out.

Tanner Bibee @ TEX – Are you going with heads this time?

Do Not Starts

Griffin Canning vs. NYM – It feels like it could work. If only I had more to latch onto from Canning in his recent outings.

Keider Montero vs. SEA – He’s been a solid WHIP play for a handful of starts this year. That’s not enough for me.

Zack Littell @ ARI – The Dancing With The Disco approach could work for Littell in a good matchup. It’s a low ceiling and proportionally low floor, too.

Andrew Painter vs. CHW – Painter’s secondary focus is a good idea. I need more evidence of it working first, and the White Sox are a decent offense, even without Murakami.

Spencer Miles (Opener) vs. BAL – I wonder if he’ll get opened for and be in a position for a Win again. That requires him to pitch well enough to deserve a Win, of course.

Luinder Avila @ MIN – Avila ain’t the guy you want. He throws hard, but it’s so over the top, the control is suspect, and he doesn’t earn enough whiffs.

Jack Kochanowicz @ LAD – Like Jackie K. Yeeeeesh.

Tanner Gordon vs. MIL – And it’s the Colorado pitcher.

Mason Barnett @ HOU – And a possible piggy-back game with Kade MorrisI dunno, it’s too meh.

Marlins Bullpen vs. TBR – Looks like another bullpen game for the Marlins.

Saturday 6/6 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Sunday 6/7 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings

Auto-Starts

Cam Schlittler vs. BOS – Aces gonna ace.

Jacob deGrom vs. CLE – Aces gonna ace.

Kevin Gausman vs. BAL – It’s the Orioles and you’re not benching Gausman.

Probably Starts

Emmet Sheehan vs. LAA – He’s looking much better as of late and the Angels have let many pitchers feast.

Michael Soroka vs. WSH – It’s a bit of a revenge game for Soroka, who has continued showcasing elite pitch separation.

Griffin Jax @ MIA – It wasn’t a fun one last time, but the skills are very much there for Jax. His arsenal is elite and the Marlins are the perfect team to test the waters with.

Cade Cavalli @ ARI – The Sneks are a team to stream against and even with just one stellar pitch, Cavalli should be able to help your squads.

Connelly Early @ NYY – It’s the Yankees, though Early has been proving reliable.

Bryce Elder vs. PIT – Alright Elder, I know you’ve allowed 3 ER in three of your last four, but it was a PQS+ last time out after the devastation in Fenway.

Questionable Starts

Randy Vásquez vs. NYM – It’s the Mets, making this a decent play for Vásquez. It’s too bad he can’t find the whiffs anymore.

Noah Cameron @ MIN – As much as I want to elevate Cameron into the next tier, I’m going to give it just one more game before allowing myself to lean into his current command feel.

Gage Jump @ HOU – Jump was impressive last time out and I’m thrilled he gets to pitch in a dome and not at Sacré Verde. I hope the four-seamer still hovers a 70% strike rate, while the secondaries come to life.

Sandy Alcantara vs. TBR – As much as I want to lean into a start against the Rays, Alcantara is a HIPSTER.

José Soriano @ LAD – The control has dwindled over the last month and the Dodgers are the Dodgers.

Aaron Nola vs. CHW – We just saw Nola sit 93 mph on top of improved command over his last few. Please be back…please be back…

Shane Baz @ TOR – Even with Baz’s latest stretch, I’m not seeing enough of a shift in his arsenal to push him higher.

Sean Manaea @ SDP – I love that Manaea has returned to ~92 mph velocity and the Friars inability to hit LHP. I dislike how Manaea hasn’t been stretched out properly yet and may keep this leash all season.

Joey Cantillo @ TEX – Cantillo is a HIPSTER who hasn’t given you the consistent strikeout production that makes him worthwhile. He does get to pitch in Arlington here, though, and if you’re trying to find a punchout or two on the wire, Cantillo has a decent shot.

Do Not Starts

Connor Prielipp vs. KCR – The long-term outlook is great. The short term has been rough. It’s likely best to just sit this one out.

David Sandlin @ PHI – His debut was awesome. His second game was a disaster. The stuff is still great, though the he may still be proud of his living room’s Shag Rug against the Phillies. This is a solid Hail Mary play.

Trevor McDonald @ CHC – McDonald has moved away from his slider in favor of more sinkers for some reason. It’s also June Wrigley. Shudders.

Jack Flaherty vs. SEA – Flaherty has had some surprising strikeout games, but nothing has changed to make me believe it’s sustainable.

Jameson Taillon vs. SFG – If this weren’t in Wrigley, I’d have him in the questionable start tier.

Luis Castillo @ DET – Castillo has been better in his piggy-back role with Miller, but now that he’s getting the pearl in the first with an indefinite leash, I’m not interested, especially against a strong crew in Detroit and away from @TEA.

Michael McGreevy vs. CIN – You’re risking a “Wonka” and I’d prefer not to.

Bubba Chandler @ ATL – It’s Hotlanata and Bubba hasn’t come through enough for me to buy in.

Mike Burrows vs. ATH – Burrows has been productive so rarely this year.

Shane Drohan @ COL – I dig Drohan if he gets runway as a proper starter for the Brewers. This is not the start to chase it.

Rhett Lowder @ STL – It’s a Still ILL for a guy who wasn’t turning heads prior.

Kyle Freeland vs. MIL – It’s the Colorado pitcher in Coors.
