Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.
Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.
There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.
There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:
Auto-Start – Just do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.
Probably Start – I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.
Questionable Start – Think of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.
Do Not Start – The reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.
Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.
Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!
There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.
As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):
Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.
These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.
Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.
(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Dylan Cease @ BOS – Cease should easily get back on track.
Bryan Woo @ TEX – I know, I know. NICK, HE’S ON THE ROAD! I really don’t think it’s as big of a deal as the small, grouping sample outlines.
Sonny Gray vs. TOR – He’s on a hot streak, but showed signs of it waning last time out that I really hope were absolutely nothing.
Foster Griffin vs. ARI – He’s been too dang good to bench.
Sean Burke vs. HOU – Ditto.
Eury Pérez vs. SDP – Is Eury finally turning it on like we hoped he would at the start of the year?
Probably Starts
Shota Imanaga @ PIT – He’s in lovely PNC Park and I’m expecting better than 90.4 mph fastball velocity.
Nolan McLean vs. LAD – It’s the Dodgers, but he’s improved vastly over the last month.
Casey Mize vs. KCR – He’s a solid Toby in a good matchup.

Nick Martinez vs. CLE – Don’t expect strikeouts, but this Vargas Rule is still alive.
Questionable Starts
Robert Gasser vs. COL – It’s Rockie Road. I don’t love it, but it seems as safe as it gets for Gasser.
Nathan Eovaldi vs. SEA – He’s allowed 3+ ER in nine of his last ten starts. Surely that won’t last.
Ryan Weathers @ PHI – He’s Luzardo-lite. You’re experiencing one of the rough stretches and this may be his last opportunity to showcase he’s worthy of a starting spot over Will Warren if the Yankees were to acquire an arm at the deadline
Hunter Brown @ CHW – It feels wrong to place Brown down here, but his four-seamer feel has been atrocious, and his sinker followed suit last time out. Without the heaters working, he’s not the Hunter you love.
Robbie Ray vs. LAA – Why are you throwing sinkers instead of four-seamers? STOP IT. STOP EATING THROWING SINKERS OVER FOUR-SEAMERS.
Tanner Bibee @ TBR – Flip a coin.
Ryan Johnson @ SFG – He’s been shockingly productive and heads to Oracle Park. I find it hard to rely heavily on a ~90 mph right-hander.
Do Not Starts
Brandon Young vs. ATL – He’s had some great moments, but it’s Atlanta and I really don’t buy into his arsenal.
Connor Prielipp vs. ATH – It’s a Still ILL as Prielipp returns from a blister. I hope the curveball comes back in full.
Andre Pallante vs. CIN – His four-seamer command has been much worse in his last two games.
Bryce Elder @ BAL – The pumpkin returned to form ages ago.
JP Sears @ MIA – Maaaaybe he can live on the outside edge with fastballs and changeups and get through five?
Ryan Feltner @ MIL – At least it’s not in Coors.
Mitch Bratt @ WSH – A young mediocre southpaw against the Nationals? Oh no.
Brian Keller vs. NYY – It’s unclear what the Phillies plan to do on Saturday. Keller could be called up and be the bulk arm, it could just be a bullpen day, who knows. Just avoid it.
Athletics Bullpen@ MIN – Ginn hit the IL = Bullpen day in all likelihood.
Sunday 7/26 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Jacob Misiorowski vs. COL – Aces gonna ace.
Logan Gilbert @ TEX – Aces gonna ace.
Joe Ryan vs. ATH – Aces gonna not allow six HRs again and keep his velocity above 93. And ace.
Jacob deGrom vs. SEA – Aces gonna ace.
Drew Rasmussen vs. CLE – Aces gonna ace.
Cristopher Sánchez vs. NYY – Aces gonna showcase that they are, in fact, still an ace.
Braxton Ashcraft vs. CHC – It’s been a rough few games due to a few struggles against LHB with his breaking pitches, and I wouldn’t worry about it.
Parker Messick @ TBR – I don’t see why you wouldn’t roll with Messick here.
Probably Starts
Emmet Sheehan @ NYM – The ratios haven’t matched the ability. They will.
Kevin Gausman @ BOS – Gausman is experiencing the valley of his season. He’ll trek back up to the peak over the next two months.
Andrew Abbott @ STL – Abbott is doing Abbott things. The changeup and heater command are much better than in April.
Questionable Starts
José Soriano @ SFG – He had a great outing last time and this looks like an easy call in Oracle Park, but Soriano’s line is dependent on his own ability to throw strikes, not the scenario, and his volatility is well documented.
Ranger Suarez vs. TOR – It looks like Suarez will finally return on Sunday after delayed by an illness after getting rest to recover from his hip injury. I’m treating it like a Still ILL with a little more love than usual.
Will Warren @ PHI – Warren was pushed back to Sunday after helping Max Fried in Wednesday’s doubleheader and I wonder if it’s an indication of the Yankees’ lack of faith in him as a starter the rest of the way. His four-seamer/sinker combo hasn’t been as sharp as of late.
Shane Baz vs. ATL – Baz’s curveball is looking awesome. I just wish his cutter/slider/change were better #3 pitches to help him out + it’s Atlanta.
Framber Valdez vs. KCR – Valdez had his curveball, then was bamboozled without finishing a single frame. I hope he gets back on track, but I don’t blame you for sitting this one out.
Luinder Avila @ DET – Avila finally went six frames and I could be a little too low on this one. That said, his fastballs are a little bit of Empty Velocity and he isn’t the most consistent strike thrower.
Do Not Starts
Freddy Peralta vs. LAD – It’s been a terrible year for Peralta and while he may heat up in time, this outing against the Dodgers doesn’t look like the match strike on paper.
Kyle Leahy vs. CIN – Leahy gets to host the Reds and this could be a sneaky 5+ game of decent ratios and a strikeout per inning. I really don’t like his fastballs, though, and until he finds a great feel for the breakers, I’m out on him.
Carson Whisenhunt vs. LAA – We may see a lot more of Whisenhunt in the second half if the Giants are selling at the deadline. It’s a wait-and-see, with hopes he can nail down his SWATCH command, while I hold out hope to see his 95/96 mph velocity from the spring return in the summer.
Janson Junk vs. SDP – Junk hasn’t found a way to make his stuff turn into results yet.
Reynaldo López @ BAL – ReyLó isn’t doing a whole lot to earn our trust and the Orioles pack some thump.
Jeffrey Springs @ MIN – It’s been hard for Springs to find sunshine and rainbows lately.
Kohl Drake @ WSH – The Nationals demolish LHP and even if Drake has some intrigue as a southpaw, this isn’t the start to chase.
Erick Fedde vs. HOU – I wonder if he’ll go cutter-heavy for once. That would be aweomse.
Ronel Blanco @ CHW – Blanco looked a bit like old Blanco, and I’d love for him to go slider/change heavy again. Too risky for now.
Jameson Taillon @ PIT – The Pirates love facing RHP, even if Taillon may get nostalgic back in PNC Park.
Walker Buehler @ MIA – Buehler is not the guy you want to go with.
Miles Mikolas vs. ARI – Mikolas may have an opener if you’re THAT desperate for a Win. I don’t suggest it.
Kyle Freeland @ MIL – At least he’s outside of Coors?
