The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple minor league levels, each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up-to-date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
This season has been one to forget at the Major League level. Unfortunately, it seems like the same thing is happening in the Minor Leagues. Cam Caminiti is showing promise on the mound, but the Braves have yet to have any real prospect breakouts in 2025. The team lacks top-end talent on the farm, and the window on their prime seems to be closing faster than anticipated. Hopefully, the team can turn it around on all levels as we approach the second half.
Notable Prospect Performances:
- Cam Caminiti has settled in nicely at Low-A. Caminiti struggled a bit at the Complex League, but he owns a 2.95 ERA through his first five starts in Low-A. On the backs of an excellent fastball (with plus velocity and movement), Caminiti is striking out 36.4% of the batters he has faced in Low-A. For dynasty managers, there is front-of-the-rotation upside in Caminiti’s arm. He passes Murphy to move up to the top spot in Atlanta’s farm system ranking.
- Michael Martinez is starting to make a name for himself in the DSL. Martinez struggled in the DSL last season but is looking like a different hitter early on this year. The 6’2″ outfielder is batting .316 with three homers and four stolen bases through his first 18 games this season. Martinez struggled to make contact consistently last season, but so far is doing a much better job of it in 2025. The sample size is small, but the upside in his profile seems significant.
Notable Promotions and News:
- The Braves continued their aggression this past month by promoting Didier Fuentes to the Major Leagues. Much like AJ Smith-Shawver in 2023, Fuentes was pushed quickly through the Minor Leagues after starting the season in High-A. His first three starts at the Major League level have been underwhelming. He owns a 9.00 ERA with a 5.92 FIP. PLV is grading out his fastball as well above average, but the breaking balls have been an issue. Despite the slow start, Fuentes remains an arm dynasty managers should be excited about long-term.
- Drue Hackenberg has begun a rehab assignment. Hackenberg has been on the IL since May 14. He returned to the mound at the Complex League on July 3, firing two scoreless innings. Prior to landing on the IL, the 2025 season had been one to forget for Hackenberg who owned a 7.03 ERA in eight starts at Double-A. He remains a tier-five prospect until he shows improvements now that he is healthy again.
- Nacho Alvarez is back on the IL with an oblique strain. The 2025 season has been a rough one for Alvarez, who had his season debut delayed until June 9 due to injury. Alvarez played in just 12 games before this oblique injury. The bright side for dynasty managers is that Alvarez was batting .361 prior to the injury. Durability concerns and a lack of fantasy upside keep him down in the fourth tier of prospects.
