The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple levels each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up to date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
Even after trading away James Tibbs III in June, the Giants still have an intriguing farm system for dynasty managers. The back end of the first half did not go the Giants’ way. Instead, they ended up selling at the trade deadline and acquired Jesus Rodriguez and Drew Gilbert. Gilbert’s quick promotion to the Major Leagues excluded him from the list below but he would have ranked third. Jhonny Level and Josuar De Jesus Gonzalez continue to rise quickly and Gavin Kilen makes his debut at the seventh spot on the list. Keep reading for the latest on the top dynasty prospects in the Giants’ system.
Notable Prospect Performances:
- Dakota Jordan continues to look too advanced for Low-A. Despite being drafted in the fourth round out of an SEC school, Jordan has spent the entire 2025 season in Low-A. This to no fault of his own however. Jordan has dominated the competition in Low-A. He is batting .311 with 14 homers and 27 stolen bases on the season. His performance since the start of July is even more impressive. He owns a .333/.369/.667 slash during that time frame. Jordan jumps into the tenth spot on this list.
- Bryce Eldridge is making it tough on the team to keep him in the Minor Leagues. Since returning from the IL, Eldridge has been a man on a mission. He has hit nine home runs in his last 69 at-bats with a .290 batting average. The underlying issue continues to be strikeouts, which could plague him at the Major League level.
- Diego Velasquez is struggling to produce offensively. The hope was that Velasquez would develop power to pair with his elite contact skills and plus speed. Not only has that not happened, but Velasquez has been struggling in the batting average department as of late. Since the start of July, Velasquez is batting just .217. He has not hit a home run since May 24.
Notable Prospect Promotions and News:
- Bo Davidson received a well-earned promotion to Double-A. After going undrafted in 2023, Davidson is an easy story to root for. He was batting .309 with 10 homers and 12 steals in High-A prior to his promotion. Now 23, Double-A should be much more challenging and give dynasty managers greater insight into what Davidson’s realistic projection is.
- Drew Gilbert was promoted to the Major Leagues. Gilbert did not spend long with San Francisco’s Triple-A affiliate. Gilbert was playing well in Triple-A this season, but should not be considered an elite fantasy asset. He has good contact skills and plate discipline, but does not run much, and his power is average at best.
- Jhonny Level continues to gain more attention after a promotion to Low-A. So far, Level has been excellent at both levels (haha) of professional baseball he has faced. Low-A should prove to be more challenging and help dynasty managers determine if he is the real deal. In 67 games this season, Level has hit 10 homers with 19 stolen bases. He is showing off excellent contact skills, plate discipline, with significant dynasty upside.
- The team selected Gavin Kilen with their first-round pick. Despite being a top 20 pick, Kilen only lands at seventh overall on the list above. Kilen is not a bad prospect by any means, but he does not have a high fantasy ceiling. His power is likely below-average, and he does not run much. He profiles as a better real-life player than a fantasy asset.
